### 2/5 — Go somewhere else!!!

*2026-03-26*

My first experience was great. No issues with payment, the service was exactly what I booked, and everything went smoothly. That’s the only reason this isn’t a 1-star review.

The second time completely changed my opinion.

I got overcharged $18 and ended up receiving less service than what I booked. That alone is unacceptable.

I specifically booked an add-on, and the therapist assigned to me couldn’t even provide it. That makes no sense. Why is the app allowing therapists to accept bookings for services they don’t offer? The add-on should be prioritized when matching, especially if I’m booking days in advance. Instead, my appointment was confirmed within 1–2 hours with someone who couldn’t fulfill what I paid for. Where is the logic in that?

On top of that, I had no control over the situation. There’s no option to request a different therapist without canceling the entire appointment. That’s a huge problem — especially when you’re letting someone into your home. I should be able to feel comfortable with who I’m booking, not forced to either accept it or cancel everything.

This is supposed to be a relaxing experience, but instead it turned into stress and frustration.

Also, the lack of transparency is frustrating. You can’t even clearly see pricing or invoices unless you go digging through the app or go all the way to checkout. That shouldn’t be the case.

Overall:
First experience = great
Second experience = overcharged, less service, no control, no transparency

That’s not acceptable for a service like this.

The lack of consistency on prices and service is bad, I won’t be using this app again.

### 2/5 — Cannot choose Theripist

*2026-01-28, version 6.09*

Get a list of therapists but cannot choose among them. Therapist told me the request gets tossed out to them and the first one to grab it, gets it.

### 1/5 — Sketchy

*2025-11-09, version 6.03*

Customer service is terrible and rude. They send randoms to your home and won’t let you select a provider you like. It’s like a slot machine. Why bother?

### 1/5 — Skip this app

*2025-11-09, version 6.03*

Not friendly. Not understanding. So many better apps you can use that actually care about people and their needs. Skip skip skip

### 1/5 — Be aware

*2025-09-26, version 6.03*

Be aware that some people on here are giving sexual favors. Some are escorts you have read there profiles and do a background check before you meet for service.

### 1/5 — Complete Scam

*2025-09-15, version 6.02*

Says it won’t charge your card than as soon as you move to the next step it charges you. Than if you contact customer support they just repeat the same things over and over again. Very dishonest company and I will be reporting this to my bank. I should have read these other reviews indicating the same thing before making an account. Stay away.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-09-12, version 6.02*

I was supposed to get a lymphatic massage. The Perfect that came did not even want to touch me. Did not want me to lay down on a table and wanted me to stand during the massage and also spoke about her religion the whole time there. Do not suggest this company at all.

### 3/5 — Raised prices

*2025-07-20, version 6.00*

I cant afford to get a massage, when i work here

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-07-19*

Be warned. The app is buggy and customer service is horrible. This place is a scam. For example, there are fees for changing the time of your booking, and it gets more expensive the closer to your appointment. However, the manage reservation process in the app is broken and gives errors. When you contact chat and speak to a customer service rep, they continue to cite the fees for rescheduling or canceling even though their own app is broken and gives errors.

Be forewarned, this place is a scam and just a money grab.

### 1/5 — Bad Service

*2025-07-02, version 6.00*

Female Massage therapist canceled appointment an hour before arrival and within a few moments of confirming of having a male therapist as a replacement I changed my mind and decided I wasn’t comfortable and they wanted to charge me a $30 fee to reschedule or cancel so I just told them to cancel appointment and they charged me $68 even though they said it was $30. I would not recommend. They don’t have good customer service.

### 1/5 — They don’t honor their cancellation policy - fraud!

*2025-03-14*

I cancelled prior to a therapist confirming and yet they say they have no record of it. Session was to start at 7pm. I went to bed and after the fact saw that They called at 847pm from an LA number and did not leave a message. I got an email at 858pm Saying my session was confirmed but was already asleep. Therapist shows up at 947pm! I immediately called and they said they have no record of my cancellation and even know the appointment was confirmed 2 hours after my scheduled time and therapist showed up 2.5 hours after scheduled time they said i had to pay full amount!

### 1/5 — Can never get a therapist

*2025-01-30, version 5.7*

What more needs to be said, have tried to schedule days in advance at different times and can never get a therapist. Also would be nice if I could pick the stranger that comes to my house!

### 1/5 — They randomly send someone to your house!!!

*2024-12-28, version 5.7*

You must be joking!!!!!
Out of the 9 photos of massage therapists that they showed me saying that your massage order will be sent to these people AND MORE, there were three people (out of the 9), that I would even speak to, much less allow into my home. It’s like Russian Roulette. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-07-26, version 6.20*

Awful customer service and poor massage therapists.

### 1/5 — Job

*2026-06-30, version 6.18*

Don’t work here. You get work but the money clients pay you only get 20 bucks in tip. Just say the client pays 225 for lymphatic they take most of it. You get 100 bucks they divide the 100 bucks between the tip travel and your time and it’s all the same pay. It’s sad

### 1/5 — Will never use again

*2026-06-22*

Booked my first time and the therapist is selected for you. I’ve had the selected therapist before on another app and I requested for them to be changed. I didn’t want to cancel the appointment just change therapists. When I contacted customer support they said the only solution they would provide is for me to cancel the appointment and be charged 50%. They did not offer any solutions and agreed that I was either forced to use the provider I had a bad experience with or be charged 50%. Will never use this service.

### 1/5 — The worst

*2026-05-28*

This app is such a scam, The worst customer service, I was hospitalized had to cancel and then, medically unable to have massages done. I told them I couldn’t get them due to my condition, after experiencing the first one it was too painful, Dr. said to wait it out. I have been trying to get a refund and they refuse. Policy is not more important than a customers health. They are extremely rude and inconsiderate. Invested into these sessions I now will leave there because I refuse to support this app.

### 1/5 — Absolutely worst unsafe experience

*2026-05-21, version 6.16*

Listen, you’d be safer with a 20$ lot lizard at the local gas n go then you would with the people here. Like I get it maybe people have bad days but oh my.. this was my first and my last experience with this app or this kind of service. 0/10 and i paid over $300 for the worst experience of my life .. DO NOT DO IT

### 1/5 — No Answer

*2026-04-23, version 6.14*

I paid the 100 $ fee. After I scheduled no one has answered me for confirmation. It just keeps saying it’s trying to find a professional 😒

### 1/5 — Confirmed booking means nothing here

*2026-04-19*

I booked a 2:00 PM massage and received both an email and text confirming the session was “official,” with a specific therapist assigned. I structured my day around it.

No one showed up. No notification. No update.

After I reached out, I was given a replacement window from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. I waited again. Same result. At 5:18 PM, after multiple follow-ups, I was told they couldn’t find a therapist and the session was canceled.

At one point they even asked me to change a clearly stated preference, which I declined. After that, communication dropped off completely.

Support later told me the service is “on-demand” and not guaranteed — which directly contradicts the “confirmed” booking they send with a named provider.

So what you’re actually getting is:
• “Confirmed” appointments that aren’t real
• No proactive communication when things fall apart
• Hours of your time wasted waiting

A refund doesn’t fix losing half a day.

If this is how the system works, the app is misleading at best.

### 1/5 — READ BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD: Worst Experience of My Life

*2026-02-25*

I had reached out to their support team to inform them of the dissatisfied service and all they could offer was an apology. I am not expecting money back as I did receive the service, but I think, as a business owner myself, either a replacement massage or a credit towards a next one should’ve been offered. Neither happened. I relieved a 90 minute massage to which I was hesitant was even happening because I never received any form of communication that my therapist was en route, only a call 5 minutes after start that that she had arrived. Upon the message, she asked if I had any areas of focus. I mentioned my shoulders and calves. The first 30 minutes of the massage were spent on my back. That would be fine had there been any type of technique… this massage reminded me of what my boyfriend gives me as he’s untrained. It was just a rub motion the entire time. I began to become numb to her touch as it was the same repetitive sensation with zero change. It reminded me of petting a dog. As much time was spent on my back, my shoulders, the areas of focus I mentioned, went completely untouched… I’m not sure how that happens. She massaged my feet and then immediately came to rub my face & my heart rate was no longer calm because I was grossed out. I am a clean person, but that is gross. Before the 90 minutes was up I was wide awake just wanting it to be over because it was so bad. Usually, I’m in a tranquil state, deeply relaxed, & time flies by. None of that happened here. I’m assuming they simply “vet” out licensed therapists & hire them based on years of experience vs a massage studio trains their therapist on the same technique. Worst part, I asked the theorist as the was packing up if tip was included while the app loaded, she told me no to which once the app loaded it said it was but I could tip additionally to. Then she proceeded to ask how much they are charging me. This whole experience was beyond distasteful and it actually left me angry because as a 7 figure business owner & runner, I lean into massage therapy as an outlet to relax & I left with more tension and anxiety than when I started.

### 1/5 — RUN!

*2026-01-04*

BEWARE of this company! I scheduled a same day massage with Bigtoe. Within seconds of me scheduling my daughter got sick and vomited everywhere (if you’re a parent you understand these things happen). I of course put my phone down to help her and clean everything up. I immediately went back to my phone and canceled my massage telling them I had an emergency within minutes of scheduling it (9 minutes to be exact!). They said okay and canceled it. So I was shocked when I saw they charged my credit card the FULL amount for the massage! As soon as I noticed the charge actually went through I contacted the asking why. They said I canceled too late, it was already confirmed. I explained the details of my emergency but sadly they did not care. I understand you have to have policies etc but charging someone the FULL amount?! Zero compassion! 9 minutes and a sick child!

### 1/5 — Misleading advertising

*2025-12-30, version 6.07*

The advertising is misleading.
The offer services at any time but then they keep changing the scheduling.
I understand that you need to check the availability from your therapists but, needs to be clear with the client… been waiting for 2 days to get a message.
Then they charge you right away and uphold their cancellation policy. After the 3rd time they reschedule, I decided to cancelled but still charged me the 80%

Super easy to book, great response time and all questions promptly answered via support chat! Excellent choice for those seeking quality masseuse!

### 5/5 — Love the service. Wish it was easier to rebook with preferred therapist

*2026-05-21*

I love the convenience and professionalism of the service. It is very easy to book. However, sometimes I would like to see the same therapist again as they have gotten to know me and my needs, and I find it difficult to know when they are available so I can plan ahead.

### 5/5 — I likie

*2026-02-03, version 6.09*

So far so good im happy

### 5/5 — Buggy app but responsive customer services

*2025-12-28*

App was buggy but customer service is good and fixed the issue manually. They also accommodated other requests.

Certain things like license number are missing from the service provider profile so you have to ask for it from customer support but they were quite responsive.

### 5/5 — Simply amazing

*2025-12-07, version 6.05*

Amazingly simple

### 5/5 — Great Experience

*2024-12-01*

What a lovely experience to get a massage at home through BigToe! It has been years since I had a massage and the provider was such a professional - strong hands and full forearm kapow! I am 60 and have had a pain in my hip for months that is gone. So much tension in my neck, gone! Highly recommend. Easy process, reliable staffing

**Developer response:** We're thrilled to hear you love our concept! Making yoga and massage accessible and convenient is our aim. Thanks for your fantastic feedback and we look forward to serving you again soon!
