I didn’t make the phone call because after I complained enough in email problems started to resolve themselves however, once again this app is closing out mid script. I think they’ve added too many features to a basic Teleprompter app not everything has to have AI guys your sprinting to join a race that isn’t even being run, I continue to use the app, but the fact that I have to uninstall it to reinstall it just so I can get it to work is goddamn ridiculous. ### 2/5 — It crashes a lot *2026-08-21, version 2.81.1* I have the paid version and just recorded a 20m video; it showed it was saving, but it wasn’t saved. I lost everything. Took me 3 hours to edit 1 short video only to have it uploaded as the original and all my edits reverted back. This is such a waste of your time! After all that I extracted the videos to do again in Canva! I used to recommend it to EVERYONE but because of the glitchiness that never got fixed, the terrible customer service and the price it’s a NO for me. I am now looking for a new teleprompter app as I have a lot of work and auditions to get through. I had an issue involving my purchase/subscription through the Apple App Store and reached out to BIGVU by email for help. Despite taking the time to explain the situation and contact them directly, I have received no response. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for a service and then be completely ignored when there’s a problem. I understand that Apple handles certain App Store transactions, but that doesn’t excuse a company from responding to a customer who is genuinely trying to get an issue resolved. The lack of communication alone has completely changed my opinion of BIGVU. Customer service matters, especially when someone is paying for your product. I expected at least a response or some kind of guidance, and instead I’ve been left with nothing. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before paying for this service if you expect responsive customer support when something goes wrong. ### 1/5 — Lag in sync *2026-08-18, version 2.81.1* Don’t use it, I wasted my money. ### 1/5 — Randomly changed configurations on me and wiped out all of my videos and scripts. *2026-08-15, version 2.81.1* So I was in the middle of editing a video, and suddenly a random window opens up, allowing me to post my videos with the click of one button. I bypass that option, and suddenly the app layout looks completely different and every single one of my recordings are deleted. Every single one of them. My scripts are also gone. Every SINGLE one of them. If this isn’t a nasty glitch than this app is borderline worthless. If it’s a glitch, then this app is completely unreliable. Oh, and your viewers will absolutely know that you’re looking at a script. The only way to make it look like you’re looking at your camera lens is if you’re looking at the very top of your screen just below the lenses. As if I hadn’t already done that. Besides, why would videos I never deleted end up there in the first place? I still haven’t received any meaningful response from the support team.
