No customer support. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2025-05-16* Extremely frustrating experience. The Bihar Bijli Smart Meter app is completely unreliable. The balance doesn’t get updated even after multiple recharges, and the refresh option seems to do nothing at all. I’m constantly left guessing how much balance I actually have, which defeats the entire purpose of a smart meter system. The app freezes often, and the interface is not user-friendly. For something as essential as electricity, this level of inefficiency is unacceptable. If you can’t make a good app just remove the smart meter and put the old ones. ### 3/5 — My view *2025-04-04* Many a times the app keeps on searching for its server to open itself despite having a excellent network. The meter reading is purely on the basis of past track record. When there is no one at home still the usage is the same as it was last month. Not me but many of us feel we are being fooled by this smart meter. There is a hidden interest in meter reading mechanism of this smart meter. Also this app doesn’t work outside India. There are many people living in India who can’t use technology. How can you disconnect the power without prior information? That is ridiculous and may be consider as an arm twisting method of payment like private goons . It happened to me , fault was from supplier as they have not billed for few months and suddenly disconnected showing the dues . Firstly, the app frequently logs users out automatically, forcing them to repeatedly log in, which is both inconvenient and time-consuming. To make matters worse, the app often fails to recognize correct passwords, even after multiple attempts. This results in users wasting valuable time resetting passwords unnecessarily. The payment process is another major pain point. It is incredibly slow, with transactions often taking an unreasonable amount of time to process. Basic features like user-friendly navigation and real-time updates are either absent or poorly implemented. Overall, the app feels outdated, unresponsive, and unreliable, especially for an essential service like electricity management. I strongly urge the developers to address these critical issues and improve the user experience. Until then, this app does more harm than good for its users.
