Bien pensé, pour l’île de france en tout cas, je ne saurait dire pour ailleurs.

De même que partout dans le monde où les données que nous obtenons d'OSM (Open Street Map) sont suffisamment bonnes pour garantir les fonctions de l'application.

Da ich wieder"Neuradler" in der Stadt wurde habe ich einige Apps diesbezüglich die letzten Woche getestet. Mittlerweile verwende ich nur noch diese. Allerdings bin ich ausschließlich in der Stadt gefahren. Meine Priorität liegt in der schnellen unkomplizierten und sicheren Verbindung. Wobei diese App alle bisherigen Marktführer eindeutig um Längen, in Punkten wie; schnelle eindeutige und zuverlässige Ansagen, sowie zeitsparende Wege(die nur Radfahrer und Fußgänger nutzen können) aber dennoch sicher sind, schlug. Die App bietet nur/ oder zu Glück die nötigsten Funtionen. Vielleicht ist sie auch deshalb so schnell. Absolut empfehlenswert!

La version Apple Watch est une bonne nouvelle mais toujours beaucoup de bugs dans la synchronisation avec santé. L’appli se bloque quand on importe les itinéraires. Toujours pas de smart tracking sur iPhone ! 
Itinéraires parfois très complexes alors que des routes directes existent. L’appli semble solliciter beaucoup la batterie qui se décharge vite. L’ancienne version il y a deux
Ans ou plus était bien plus efficace.

Nous travaillons en permanence à l'amélioration de l'application. Smart Tracking pour iOS est en cours de réalisation. Essaie aussi de modifier les paramètres de routage pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats.

Ich benutze Bike Citizens jetzt schon ein paar Jahren und finde das ist die beste App zum Navigieren, wenn man mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs ist. Sogar die Feld- und Waldwege in meiner dünn besiedelten Gegend werden fast fehlerlos angezeigt.👍🏻 Am Sonntag gab es einen Serverausfall, da wurde: „unbekannter Fehler“ angezeigt. Seit gestern funktioniert es aber wieder.

Leider ist einer unserer Server für kurze Zeit ausgefallen (passiert auch Google etc.). Dadurch wurde dieses Problem verursacht. Es wurde inzwischen bereits behoben.
Wir entschuldigen uns für die durch den Serverausfall verursachten Probleme und Unannehmlichkeiten. Deshalb die App schlecht zu bewerten ist nicht fair. Das hat mit der Qualität der App nichts zu tun.Wir wünschen dir noch viele schöne Fahrten mit der Bike Citizens App und vielleicht gibst du uns ja noch eine Chance und ein besseres Rating :-)

### 2/5 — Premium Bereich, „Schnelle“ Route

Eigentlich mag ich das Konzert der App sehr gerne und möchte sie auch gerne weiterhin nutzen. Leider sind mir in letzter Zeit aber einige Sachen negativ aufgefallen. Seitdem nutze ich die App immer weniger:
- Der kostenlose Premiumbereich lässt sich nicht downloaden. Bzw. downloaden schon, aber nach Beenden und Neustart der App, ist der Download wieder gelöscht.
- Will man den heruntergeladenen Bereich aktualisieren, stürzt die App immer ab.
- Beim Navigieren wäre es gut, wenn der Pfeil (also man selbst) nicht in der Mitte des Bildschirms wäre, sondern am unteren Rand. So könnte man vorausschauender fahren, da Abbiegungen früher erkennbar wären.
- Die „schnelle“ Routenplanung ist leider selten die Schnellste. Meistens wird man hier an großen Straßen entlang geschickt, an denen einen viele Ampeln ausbremsen. Meistens ist die „normale“ Routenführung schneller (und dabei auch noch deutlich schöner) weil sie einen durch Parks/Grünanlagen leitet, wo es deutlich weniger Ampeln gibt.

I’ve used the app in both London and Munich. It’s not only offered better cycling routes than Google Maps;m, but also gives a number of options depending on whether you want speed or an easier route.

Je suis sur la version payante ! L’application ne fonctionne plus.. « Une erreur de source inconnue est survenue » à chaque fois que je choisi direction. J’ai installé et désinstalle 2 fois l’application.

**Developer response:** Bonjour, optimiser (réduire) la consommation d'énergie est quelque chose que nous essayons d'améliorer en permanence. Les applications de navigation/tracking consomment généralement plus de batterie parce que le GPS et l'écran sont allumés. Nous pouvons peut-être optimiser les choses par petites étapes (par exemple, nous nous penchons actuellement sur la consommation de la batterie sous iOS), mais nous ne pouvons pas faire de miracles à cet égard. I paid to download London cycle routes and I used this app A LOT. Now the user interface is cranky, I can’t see my cycle routes anymore and it basically useless.
It seems to be geared to the same kind of people who use Strava? I cycle everywhere but I just want routes, I don’t want to measure anything about my fitness.

We were just not happy with the old tours/routes feature. It is currently being reworked thoroughly, improved and upgraded with many useful features. We ask for a little patience until the release. ### 1/5 — Sad. Used to be Flawless. No more Navigation, they won’t honour my €20 map purchase

I used to love this app! G**gle Maps would have me cycling all over in wrong directions because of its slow response times. 

Someone recommended Bike Citizens to me, and it was instant success. I bought the Amsterdam map for €19.95 and was good. 

Now after switching phones, I’ve gone back to G**gle which works most of the time, and now that I’ve tried to return to BIke Citizens they made changes that make it too difficult and hence useless to me. They aren’t honouring my purchase so I will never spend a cent with them. Google works just fine and free at that. Shame on a company that doesn’t honour legacy clients because it doesn’t benefit them financially.

Aujourd’hui est le treizième jours d’utilisation et la fonction gps ne marche plus, hier l’application a mit tellement de temps à se mettre à jour que j’ai fait des détours considérables et aujourd’hui elle m.a carrément lâchée, pas de gps, merci pour mon rdv hyper important de ce matin !!! Pourtant avant ça je la trouvais géniale cette appli ! Ps : j’ai un abonnement premium !

This App is recommended by Brisbane City Cycling Brisbane but I found it almost useless. The search function can’t find any street addresses. On a positive side, the easy, balanced and fast rout options is good.

Ive used this app for almost 2 years and it’s really never let me down. The directions do a good job of finding the beat route, and it does a really good job of keeping me off of dangerous roads. I recommend it for anyone looking for a safe bike ride.

Super Support, mein anfangs des Jahres gemeldetes Problem (funktioniert nicht mehr) wurde prompt gelöst und ich erhielt eine Mitteilung per Mail. Offenbar war ein Server down. Jetzt funktioniert alles wieder einwandfrei. Super 👍

Ich nutze die App seit Jahren und bin höchstzufrieden. Basierend auf der sehr detaillierten OpenStreetMap findet die App immer wieder super-tolle Wege, die selbst ich als gebürtiger Münchner teils nie finden würde! So entdecke ich immer wieder wunderschöne Ecken, wo ich nicht mal weiß, in welchem Stadtviertel ich mich gerade befinde. Toll! 
Auch in Urlaubsstädten mit Leihfahrrad-Möglichkeiten (z.B. Paris, Sevilla, Bilbao, Barcelona, Toulouse) half uns die App so super weiter - mit Ear Plugs ganz selbstverständlich durch eine unbekannte Stadt radeln … das ist ein völlig neues Sightseeing-Feeling!!!

Lange war ich auf der Suche nach einer NÜTZLICHEN Fahrrad-Navi-App. Etliche Versuche und Tests mit anderen Apps (überwiegend kostenpflichtig) waren ungenügend. Oftmals konnte man ein Ziel wählen aber während der Tour nicht mehr von der vorgegebenen Strecke abweichen, da die Apps (z.B. komoot) einen immer wieder zur Ursprungstrecke leiten wollte - egal wie weit man schon davon entfernt war. Das war und ist grausam.
Anders hier bei dieser App. Das Navigieren ist traumhaft. So oder so gibt es nur sehr wenig zu kritisieren. Die Handhabung ist klasse, das Herunterladen den Karten für Offline-Nutzung könnte pragmatischer sein. Ebenso wäre zu kritisieren, dass manche Orte / Straßen nicht durch Eingabe gefunden werden, erst, wenn man sie direkt auf der Karte anwählt. Das sollte dringend verbessert werden, denn manchmal kennt man sich geografisch nicht aus, um das exakte Ziel handisch zu finden.
Ansonsten eine super App, die aus meiner Sicht absolut konkurrenzlos ist.

Columbus, Ohio is full of high-speed, high traffic roads, and gravely lacks protected bike lanes (or bike lanes at all on most streets.)

This app at least lets you find the streets with less traffic. Super useful when you’re trying to get someplace that you haven’t been before and want to know the safest route. As a consequence, it can take you on horrifically uneven brick roads at times, but at least you’re less likely to be hit by a car.
