Sometimes the pathing takes you on a huge detour to get you somewhere 5 meters away. Strava has the ability to do this, and being able to force a point somewhere the app doesn’t recognise as being accessible would be amazing. This is also frustrating as areas of mapping are not up to date with the app. With routes being in places the add doesn’t recognise. Second would be to clearly display usable / accessible routes as sometimes you only see routes when you drop a point in random areas. I’m able easily to upload them to my Wahoo bike computer and simply follow the map en route. Plotting and editing a route can be a bit of a fiddle but it’s worth the effort. Don't even try!! I'd give it negative 5 stars if I could! ### 1/5 — Non-responsive *2021-09-08* My MacBook Pro meets the specs stated. App is non-responsive. Just link to website and faqs. Not sure what the paid version is like. ### 2/5 — Just doesn’t work. *2020-07-17* It seems to have gained bugs that render it useless. It’s pretty much impossible to plan a route without putting waypoints every 300m or less, otherwise it automatically assumes you want to do a slalom through back streets. Utterly maddening. It’s allegedly had a bug fix done recently but it hasn’t worked at all. My version is fully up to date. ### 3/5 — Unfortunately not quite complete *2024-08-01, version 1.12* The app uses Brouter, which is great. However, routes around 400 km are not calculated, according to the error the marker is too far away. The route is not recalculated for subsequently added no-go areas (or I have not found the function). I also miss the detailed settings for the Brouter routing profiles. Otherwise, this would be the app for iPad that I have been missing for a long time. ### 3/5 — fun *2021-09-11* good fun ### 3/5 — Simplicity is good *2019-12-05* The simplicity is awesome on this makes it really easy to use. Switchable hill mode is great. Also duplicating and editing works well. One annoying flaw is that the preview of the route in the dashboard overview is MIRRORED over the map in both iOS and macOS versions, this should be corrected. I use the avoid mode often. The waypoints are easily set. The alternatives can be chosen quickly. You can revert an redo. It has all you need but no superfluous stuff.
