### 4/5 — Very convenient

*2026-08-13, version 2026.23.38*

It will be wonderful if the station next to my home ossignton/harrison not full by bikes so i can dock. It constantly full bike specially on the weekends which is great but need more dock since my work from different station

### 2/5 — Really unintuitive app

*2026-07-29, version 2026.23.38*

Tried to rent 2 bikes, couldn’t do it at all. I had to create a new account to do something as simple as get two bikes out. UK zip code does not come up using letters which post codes have.

Needs. A lot of rework.

### 1/5 — Bike quality

*2026-07-22, version 2026.23.33*

The bikes weigh over 25 kg and are not fun to ride. The gears are either way too hard or way too easy.

There are almost never any e-bikes available at the stations.

They also place a $50 hold on your card when you unlock a bike, and it can take up to 20 days to get it back. Overall, not a great experience

### 1/5 — Unknown charge

*2026-07-22, version 2026.23.33*

I paid for two bikes with a day pass on July 20 and I was charged $33.90. However the app charged me again today (July 21) for $37.96. And another $50, I know it’s for a deposit and I will get it back in a several day.

### 1/5 — Awful on-boarding

*2026-07-19, version 2026.23.33*

Terrible signup experience.. gave up

### 3/5 — parking sucks

*2026-07-18, version 2026.23.33*

This will be very convenient in downtown to go to work but the problem is the parking either full or the station docks aren’t working it makes you late at work by looking for a station to park it and and frustrating to park it in the docks that’s available but it’s not working to put the bike on it. In addition it’s expensive for a year that mostly you can only use it for 5 months because either the snow is late or early. and 45minutes not even enough i need to stop look for bike and return it and get it again was cause my travelling time to go to work. they should built the scooter too where you can leave it anywhere it doesn’t need the parking lot.

### 1/5 — Won’t let me update payment info!

*2026-07-17, version 2026.23.33*

Super annoying. I keep getting an error message even on the website. Also when I select Profile I get a server error message!

### 1/5 — Please take my money

*2026-07-13, version 2026.23.33*

My credit card has expired. When I try auto-filling a credit card number the app goes haywire and has to be killed. Meanwhile the website has some obscure error. Does corporate strategy involve receiving payment?!

### 1/5 — Outstanding Achievement in Broken UI and Frozen Cameras

*2026-07-10, version 2026.23.33*

If your idea of a fun Friday afternoon is standing around staring at a frozen card scanner while your sanity slowly evaporates, this app is a 10/10.

The development team has achieved something truly spectacular: a payment gateway that is completely immune to processing a transaction. The OCR card scanner doesn't just fail to read the card; it triggers a deep, existential meditation where the entire UI freezes up and refuses to respond to human touch. I’m genuinely curious what the engineering team does all day. Are we testing the limits of human patience, or is this a psychological experiment funded by the city? If you actually want to get somewhere on time, you're better off walking backward than trying to deal with this absolute disaster of a codebase. Fix your broken architecture.

### 2/5 — Basic and unusable

*2026-07-08, version 2026.23.33*

Who made this app an 5yo boy?

### 1/5 — So bad

*2026-07-03, version 2026.23.33*

Terrible

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-06-28, version 2026.23.33*

The app is so laggy. Does not register touches and I have to restart the app. No option to add more bikes after a pass has been purchased. No Apple Pay as payment method.

### 1/5 — No bikes available

*2026-06-27, version 2026.23.33*

As an app and as a service Bike Share Toronto has become pathetic.

By far the biggest issue is throughout the city there are constantly no bikes available.

It’s at a point now I’ve gone from using the app near daily to almost never simply because there are no bikes available.

### 1/5 — Need app for bike, app doesn’t work, can’t get bike

*2026-06-26, version 2026.23.33*

Trash app that doesn’t work at all. Can’t update my payment after previous card was compromised. Can’t even update my birthday I have to call customer service to do that? What?! Crashes constantly. Won’t connect to servers. Sure would like to rent a bike but the app is now the only way to do that and it just doesn’t work. Massive biking infrastructure initiative laid low by incompetent app builders.

### 2/5 — Dock availability is not updated

*2026-06-25, version 2026.23.33*

Dock availability is not updated in anything close to real time. Shows available docks when there's none. It's frustrating to spend extra half hour cycling around and hoping for the best.

### 4/5 — App Ok

*2026-06-25, version 2026.23.33*

I do love bike share. My only gripe with the app is ads which as a subscriber I don’t want to see and the my location icon should just always show.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible Payment Integration

*2026-08-29, version 2026.23.38*

We couldn’t use Apple Pay, so tried autofill credit card info. The poor app just started jittering. Scan the card? Good luck with that. Frustrating experience.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2026-08-29, version 2026.23.38*

App won’t let me add a card. Deleted my account and tried again… portal error. So, can’t add new card info, can’t make a new account. No bike share for me I guess

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-08-24, version 2026.23.38*

As others have said, can’t pay with a foreign card as it won’t allow me to type in my post code properly. Utterly useless design and they are clearly ignoring this feedback, missing out on lots of tourist business!

### 1/5 — Day Pass and Unlocking

*2026-08-21, version 2026.23.38*

Use very misleading pass names. I got a day pass yesterday for $17 and used the bike for just over 2 hours. The next day they charged me another $9 because I didn’t dock it after 90 mins. They should have refunded me sone money because I only used it for 2 hours. Should be called 90 minute renewable daily pass or something like that…just not Day Pass. Just a cash grab in my opinion. Also my bike didn’t unlock the first time and it wasn’t easily apparent on how to unlock it.

### 1/5 — Load of bug

*2026-08-14, version 2026.23.38*

To the app developers: Did you develop an app or a load of bug. Do a favour to everyone and try to find another job!

### 1/5 — D

*2026-08-14, version 2026.23.38*

Says there is parking available when their isn’t , positioning and docking system is a disaster

### 1/5 — Trash App

*2026-08-07, version 2026.23.38*

Waisted my time for 45 minutes

### 1/5 — Buggy, Terrible App

*2026-07-29, version 2026.23.38*

It took my family 25 minutes to get the stupid app to allow us to rent four bikes. It must have been vibecoded by drunken monkeys.

### 1/5 — Worst app

*2026-07-25, version 2026.23.33*

It is the worst app I’ve ever used, useless.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-07-24*

It sucked in my $50 in my card without telling me.holy scam worst app in my phone 100%.I’m don’t even live here and I just lost the money and I can’t do anything about it.
