## What is BikeLab?

BikeLab is a local-first motorcycle toolbox for setup, rides, and maintenance. Pick a motorcycle, follow clear steps, and use metric or imperial units.

22 TOOLS READY NOW

• Motorcycle Health Score — combines relevant saved results into a deterministic 0–100 condition score, separate evidence coverage, recommendations, history, charts, and source links. Missing checks stay unknown.
• Suspension Sag — measure front and rear sag manually or with the supported mounted-phone method.
• Dynamic Suspension Analysis — review recorded chassis response and settling after you park, then compare matching rides before and after one setup change. Phone motion is evidence, not a mechanical diagnosis.
• Suspension Balance Score — combines paired sag, saved geometry, and comparable Dynamic Suspension results without penalizing missing evidence.
• Wheelbase, Rake, Trail & Headlight Aim — record geometry and low-beam setup manually or with guided camera points where supported.
• Chain Lubrication & Chain Slack — follow chain care, save distance reminders, and compare slack with your motorcycle's range.
• Service Reminder, Ride Checklist & Torque Specs — plan work, save pre-ride checks, and keep manufacturer values with the correct motorcycle.
• TPMS Dashboard — record tyre pressure, use adaptive reminders, and assign Bluetooth sensors. Verified sensors can show foreground pressure; temperature and background alerts are not available yet.
• OBD Workshop Dashboard — use a compatible scanner to save fault-code reports, clear and rescan when supported, and view supported live values.
• Ride Session & Ride Smoothness Score — review route, distance, speed, estimated lean, events, replay, capture quality, and how calmly recorded motion changed.
• Cornering, Brake Performance & Launch Consistency — compare recorded runs and patterns on a safe, legal, controlled course.
• Fuel Consumption & Photo Gallery — keep fill-ups, costs, receipts, stations, trends, and local motorcycle photos.

BUILT FOR REPEATABILITY

Measurements, services, and rides stay with each motorcycle. Make one change and measure again. Pin tools and results to the dashboard. Choose motorcycle-inspired themes, including the new Workshop Instrument, Rally Data Sheet, and Blueprint Control Pro themes in light or dark appearance.

Use ride tools only with the phone securely mounted and never interact with it while moving. BikeLab is an assistant, not certified equipment or a replacement for manufacturer instructions, professional inspection, road laws, or rider judgment.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No account is required. Data stays on your device unless you export, share, or start private provider sync from Settings. The catalog works offline, and manual alternatives remain available where supported.

FREE TO START. BUILT TO GROW.

Core manual flows are free, and each automatic or ride-session tool includes one free saved result. BikeLab Pro unlocks unlimited motorcycles, automatic measurements, ride sessions, fuel logs, torque references, dashboard pins, recurring service plans, private provider sync, and Pro themes. Monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions and a lifetime purchase are available. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.1 — 2026-09-02

Bug fixes

### 2.0.0 — 2026-08-26

FOUR NEW TOOLS. ONE BIG 2.0 UPDATE.

BikeLab 2.0 now includes every new rider-facing feature added since 1.9:

• Motorcycle Health Score automatically combines relevant saved results into a deterministic 0–100 condition score, separate evidence coverage, category views, recommendations, history, charts, and source links. Missing checks stay unknown rather than counting as faults. Supported phones can explain the saved report locally without changing the score, diagnosing a fault, or certifying safety.
• Ride Smoothness Score uses a securely mounted phone to review how calmly the motorcycle's motion changed during a recorded ride. Compare familiar rides with the same motorcycle, mount, and similar speeds.
• Dynamic Suspension Analysis reviews recorded chassis response and settling after you park. Compare the same route, mount, load, speed range, and setup before and after one change. Phone motion is evidence, not a mechanical diagnosis.
• Suspension Balance Score combines paired front/rear sag, saved geometry, and comparable Dynamic Suspension results into one report. Missing evidence does not lower the score.

Also new in 2.0:

• Three Pro technical themes: Workshop Instrument, Rally Data Sheet, and Blueprint Control, each in light and dark appearance.
• Cleaner detail screens keep the main navigation out of the way and preserve the native back swipe.
• Private sync runs only when you start it from Settings, keeping normal app use responsive.

The four new tools work locally and retain honest evidence and device limits. Motorcycle photos are presentation only and are not inspected for condition. Canonical reports remain available offline and participate in portable backup and private provider sync where supported.

### 1.9.0 — 2026-08-10

OBD DIAGNOSTICS. TIED TO YOUR MOTORCYCLE.

BikeLab 1.9 adds OBD Workshop Dashboard for compatible motorcycle scanners.

• Discover compatible nearby scanners and assign one to a specific motorcycle for automatic reconnection.
• Scan stored, pending, and permanent fault codes and save diagnostic reports to History.
• When the motorcycle supports it, clear codes only after confirmation and automatically scan again.
• View supported live scanner values in the Workshop, Dashboard, and OBD page during a Ride Session.

The scanner and motorcycle determine which codes and live values are available.

Your records remain on your device unless you export, share, or enable private provider sync.

Mount the phone securely before moving, use ride tools only where legal, never interact with the phone while riding, and never clear fault codes while riding.

### 1.8.0 — 2026-08-03

TYRE PRESSURES. CLEARER FOLLOW-UP.

BikeLab 1.8 adds TPMS Dashboard for repeatable cold-pressure checks tied to each motorcycle.

• Record recommended, found, and inflated front and rear pressures before riding in psi, bar, kPa, or ksc.
• Review saved checks in History or on your Dashboard. Repeated checks can bring the next reminder forward as guidance, not a leak diagnosis.
• Discover nearby Bluetooth sensors and assign front and rear sensors to a motorcycle. Live pressure, temperature, and background alerts are not available yet; they require a validated compatible sensor format.
• Cornering reports now use peak lean. Ride replay direction, maps, scrolling, tablet navigation, private-sync refresh, and update-guide visuals are clearer and more reliable.

Your records remain on your device unless you export, share, or enable private provider sync.

Mount the phone securely before moving, use ride tools only where legal, and never interact with the phone while riding.

### 1.7.0 — 2026-07-28

ONE RIDE. A FULLER REPORT.

BikeLab 1.7 introduces Ride Session, a single securely mounted-phone recording that turns a ride into a useful local report.

• Review your route, duration, distance, average and maximum speed, estimated maximum lean on each side, detected corners, qualifying launches, and capture quality.
• Scrub through a saved replay, expand the route map, and select recorded estimates to see where they occurred.
• When the recording meets the required quality, preview and approve optional Cornering Analysis or Launch Consistency results. Approved results appear in that tool's history without using another included allowance.
• Ride data, processing, maps, and replay stay on your device unless you choose to export, share, or privately sync them.

This release also improves session exit and history navigation, map behavior, scroll restoration across screen sizes, and live refresh after private sync.

Mount the phone securely before moving, use ride tools only where legal, and never interact with the phone while riding.
