## What is BikepackPro?

What's between you and camp tonight? Not just miles. Weather. Terrain. Surface conditions. Resupply. Daylight. BikepackPro maps everything between you and anywhere on your route -- so you make better decisions and get back to riding.

Other apps tell you where to go. This one tells you what you'll encounter getting there.

RIDEIQ -- YOUR ETAs, NOT SOMEONE ELSE'S
Generic cycling apps estimate arrival times based on average riders on average days. RideIQ builds a profile from how you actually ride -- your fitness, your fatigue curve, the terrain ahead, current wind, and surface type. The result is an ETA you can make real decisions against. The difference between arriving at camp before dark and setting up your tent in the rain.

RIDEIQ BETWEEN ANY TWO POINTS
How long to the next water source? Can you reach that campsite before sunset? See RideIQ from your current location to any waypoint, or between any two points on your route. Your numbers. Your fatigue. The hours you have already been riding today. All factored in.

SURFACE & TERRAIN ANALYSIS
See the breakdown of pavement, gravel, dirt, and singletrack before you roll out. Know what surface types and elevation changes are waiting between here and your next waypoint. Pick the right tires. Set the right expectations.

RESUPPLY INTELLIGENCE
Water sources. Grocery stores. Bike shops. Lodging. Convenience stores. Coffee. Showers. Laundromats. Over 30 categories of points of interest, all mapped along your route with distance and opening hours when available. In the backcountry, knowing where to find water is not a nice-to-have. It is the decision.

ROUTE WEATHER
See rain, wind, temperature, snow depth, air quality, and cloud cover layered directly on your route. Spot the storm moving in from the west. Identify the headwind section after lunch. Ride with the weather, not into it.

CAMP WEATHER
Tap any point on your route. Get the overnight forecast for those exact coordinates -- not a city 40 miles away. Temperature, frost risk, dew point, wind speed and gusts, precipitation chance and amount, sunrise and sunset. This is the feature no other cycling app has. Plan where you sleep with actual data for the spot where you'll pitch your tent.

ROUTE ANALYSIS
Get a complete breakdown of what lies between you and any point on your route. Total distance, elevation gain and loss, surface percentages, estimated time, weather conditions, and resupply options along the way. Everything you need to decide whether to push on or stop -- in one view.

IMPORT FROM ANYWHERE
BikepackPro is decidedly not a route planner. Bring your routes from Strava, Ride With GPS, Komoot, or any GPX file. We work with your plan, not against it. Your routes. Your decisions. Better information.

WORKS OFFLINE
Download maps, route data, and POI before you leave service. The places worth riding are usually the places without signal. BikepackPro was built for exactly those places.

COMMUNITY ROUTES & LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
Browse routes and points of interest shared by bikepackers who have actually been there. Find the water source that is not on any map. The campsite with wind protection. The shortcut that saves an hour. Add your own intel to help the next rider through.

BUILT ON THE TOUR DIVIDE
This app was conceived and tested on the Tour Divide -- 4,400 km from Banff to the Mexican border. It exists because its builder spent too much time on his phone trying to answer simple questions that should have had fast answers. Every feature solves a real problem from a real ride.

From Tour Divide racers to weekend overnighters, if you are making decisions in the field on a loaded bike, this is the app that was built for exactly that.

### 5/5 — Simple and fast

*2026-04-24*

What I like is that it’s not trying to be an everything app. Does its job super well! Now instead of multiple apps I can plan my routes in one place.

### 5/5 — Solid

*2026-03-19*

Nice to have everything I need to make decisions in the field all in one place. Very useable and seems to get updated frequently.

### 5/5 — Essential

*2026-03-17*

I rode the Tour Divide while using this app in 2025, and it was priceless. The ability to see how far it is to your next stop, the climbs, the surface, and the weather - all in one place - put it in the top tier of apps I used on the ride, and eliminated the need to use several other apps along the way. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Great for weekend bikepacker trips

*2026-03-17*

I'm not doing ambitious races or anything, just overnight trips. This app made getting out way less intimidating. Pulled in a route from Strava, checked the surface breakdown, found camping and food... so easy, and all without having to use multiple apps. The route profile view is really cool.

### 5/5 — Fast and no-nonsense

*2026-03-16*

I don’t want to spend 10 minutes fiddling with an app when I’m at a junction trying to figure out which way to go. This loads up, shows me what I need, and I’m back on the bike. That’s it. That’s the review. Would love dark mode for early morning checks tho.

### 5/5 — Better than paper maps (barley kidding)!

*2026-03-14*

I am old school and was skeptical of yet another app but a friend in a group ride showed me the surface analysis and I was sold. Imported my hand planned RWGPS routes easily and now I actually know what I am getting into before I leave. The camping spots from the community are a game changer for longer routes.

### 5/5 — Quick ETA Check

*2026-03-12*

I tend to overthink route decisions. This app basically removes the guesswork, pull it up, check how long each option takes, factor in the weather, pick one, ride. Whole process takes like 30 seconds. My riding partner now calls it "the oracle" lol

### 5/5 — The best

*2026-03-09*

The best and most complete app for bikepacking ever made! It helps you make decisions on the fly and is often updated by the developer, who is also a Tour Divide finisher and truly understands what bikepacking lovers need and want. I can’t recommend it enough.

### 5/5 — Best ETA calculations

*2026-03-09*

People talk about the weather stuff but honestly the ETA calculations are what I use most. 60km into a long day and need to know if you should push or set up camp, having a real time estimate is everything. Been pretty accurate for me across gravel and singletrack.

### 4/5 — Good for quick checks at test stops!

*2026-03-08*

Just back from a (wet) easy pace overnight trip. Pulled this up maybe 5-6 times. Each time I was in and out of it in under a minute. Imported our gpx to start… then quick glances at weather, our eta, found a brewery for a bite and a pint! It’s not trying to be RideWith (or Strava) - it’s the thing I check quickly between RideWith checks. Only con-I wish the map loaded a tiny bit faster on a slow cell signal.
