### 4/5 — Accuracy

*2024-07-30*

I don’t operate the premium I cycle
On the free app. Just to get a sense of what the app are how the app operates! The free app track my miles pretty good; I like it, I’m considering getting a upgrade; so yeah I think it’s fine.

### 3/5 — Problem

*2024-05-16, version 2.4.3*

I’m having a problem with the App
I keep losing the App it stops working
Also if I Paws my ride when I come to start again I back to zero again iv lost my ride

### 2/5 — Auto Save

*2023-06-22, version 2.4.1*

I wish this app would automatically save because when I need to use my phone it loose my progress

### 2/5 — First time user

*2020-08-19, version 2.1.6*

The map records fine but the app quit recording distance . Since it’s the first time maybe I accidentally pressed something. I’ll update it after another ride

### 4/5 — Improved

*2020-08-12, version 2.1.6*

Thank you for fixing the inadvertent “pausing” issue. It’s a good app that is very reasonably priced. I’ve been using it almost daily since early April.

### 5/5 — Good

*2020-06-05, version 2.1.6*

I like it

### 1/5 — App keeps shutting off

*2020-05-30, version 2.1.6*

Terrible

### 5/5 — Useful Trail tool

*2020-05-22*

This app is a great little addition to my workout and riding library. Being able to accurately record any ride- regardless of road access or not, is very handy. Add to that the stats and data gathering, and it serves as very handy app to have. I really like that the developer team continues to support and upgrade for the user-base. Happy downloader right here!!!

### 4/5 — Nice app

*2020-04-14*

It worked very well. I also wore my Garmin watch so I could do a comparison. They matched almost perfectly. What I like the most about this app was where it showed mile markers on the map and in the stats it showed how long it took to bike from one mile marker to the other.

### 4/5 — It’s a good app for free.

*2020-04-13, version 2.1.5*

I don’t need all the frills and whistles for my needs. All I need is to keep track of my miles on my bike and how long my trips are. As for this I feel that this app does what I need it for.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Falsely advertised as free - avoid this app!

*2025-08-11*

As other users have noted, despite the text of the app description saying you have the option to upgrade to a paid subscription, this is false and you will become unable to use the app unless you purchase a subscription. Avoid this app at all costs as this is intentionally deceiving and predatory.

### 1/5 — Used to like it…

*2025-07-14, version 2.6.6*

Not anymore, at one time it was a free app, not anymore….goodbye

### 1/5 — I don’t want your Free Premium Trial

*2025-07-12, version 2.6.6*

So, there’s no way for me to access the app (that I have been using for years) without subscribing. Nice try, but nope. Give us the option to opt out of this!

### 1/5 — Already Subscribed Can’t Use

*2025-07-07, version 2.6.6*

I bought a lifetime premium subscription to this app from MacHeist. Now they won’t let me use the app until I pay up again.

### 1/5 — Can’t restore lifetime license

*2025-03-09*

I own the lifetime version, but I am unable to restore it from my new phone. Argh!

### 1/5 — Bad

*2023-04-02, version 2.3.9*

It just won’t start and I didn’t keep my history and the dates were always wrong

### 1/5 — Junk

*2023-01-13*

Have used this app for a couple of years successfully to accurately track my distance travelled when operating my electric power wheel chair. All of a sudden now when I push record at the start of one of my outings I get a message that reads something like YOU CANT RECORD MORE THAN 5 TRACKS, TRY BUYING THE PREMIUM VERSION. I bought the premium version but I continue to get that message! I don’t know what a track is! I want my money back or I want the app to track my wheel chairs distance once again.

**Developer response:** sorry about that, this should be fixed in the latest updates

### 1/5 — Suggestion

*2021-01-20, version 2.1.6*

If this app includes more cycling options it’s better

### 1/5 — Inaccurate

*2020-07-15, version 2.1.6*

The app said I was cycling at 4 mph, I was really averaging 18 mph. It also said I went a tenth of a mile after I rode 16 miles. The only things it got right was my time and my path. Bummer. At least it was only a waste of $2 and not more than that. I downloaded an app that costs $9/year and works great so far!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Track True

*2020-07-12, version 2.1.6*

It did not track my path even remotely correct. I road on sidewalks or bike lane for an entire city block approximately 2 miles. The app tracked a line from my driveway to a sidewalk behind my home and registered 0.03 miles it did record the time correctly

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great stating app

*2024-12-30, version 2.5.9*

Good for monitoring your progres

### 5/5 — Great app for biking!

*2024-06-02*

I've used Vima for going on 3 years and I love it! It tells me how fast I'm going, how far I've ridden, how many calories I'm burning, and how long I've been riding. These are my favorite things I focus on. It also shows a map of the path you ride with the highs and lows of the path. More options available for wherever a different person wants to focus on his/her ride!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-04-10*

I love how Vima bike keeps it simple. I don’t need a whole bunch of metrics. I just need the miles and the time and maybe the average. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Great app

### 5/5 — Simple

*2022-08-15*

This app is perfect because it’s simple to use. Push Start at the beginning of your ride and Record at the end. That’s it. It tracks your time and your mileage and your pace/speed and shows your ride on a pretty decent map. That’s all I need. If you want to keep track of your cadence or heart rate or favorite rides there’s other apps for that.

### 5/5 — Bom

*2022-08-03*

Só pelo fato de você não precisar fazer login já ganhou pontos
Um ótimo app.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2020-09-04, version 2.1.6*

I use it for bike riding and horseback riding. Give me great maps of where I’ve been and how long it takes. Thank you!!

### 5/5 — Abbreviate aural status notices

*2020-07-17, version 2.1.6*

1. Reduce the incremental mile notices. The excessive verbiage cuts out my music and the books I am listening to and it’s very annoying. It should just say 5 miles 26.3 minutes.
2. The calculated speed it reports is nonsensical. Example: I’ve gone 6 miles and in 30 minutes and it says my speed is 7 mph?? Skip the incremental miles per hour and just give a summary speed (with Max and min) when I save at end.
3 you are in competition with Endomondo which gives these features plus it gives a vertical. And it is free.

### 5/5 — Great riding partner

*2020-06-13*

This is by far the best app a cyclist can have and it’s a great riding partner when you out on the road or trail alone. Sometime just hearing a voice is encouraging too we riders.
