95% of what I need

I absolutely love this app. I love the visuals, price is affordable compared to other budget apps. ABSOLUTELY LOVE the calendar layout where I can see the big picture of how much I spent each day of the month. An improvement I would like to see, is being able to create my own Parent Categories. I feel that “pets” should have its own category rather than being labeled as Lifestyle. Lifestyle sounds like a choice category. Whereas what I spend on my pets is more of a responsibility.

Love this app!

Keeps me on track with bills. Once it deleted all of my stuff but I think it might have been something I did. There are a few things I wish was better. Sometimes when you edit recurring bill it asks if you want to change all of them or the future bills but sometimes it doesn’t ask you and it changes all the bills. Not sure if that is a glitch. So I have to delete the whole bill and start all over so it deletes all my past bills too. I wish it didn’t do this because I like keeping track of past expenses also. The other thing is I wish it had auto correct and the emoji keyboard. It only has it in their notes section but not when you’re creating a bill. If i copy and paste it lets me add the emoji. Is there something I can do about this? But other than that , it’s an awesome app and helps me stay super organized and on time with bills.

Excellent App!!

I have been using this app for 7 years to keep track of all my finances. It’s very user friendly and easy while also being proficient. It has everything I need for accurate bill tracking. I did have a question that I sent the support team and they responded immediately with an answer. I couldn’t be happier with the team and their wonderful app. Keep up the great work!

Top quality App

I love this App It is the best I have found for managing bills. I like the layout and find it simple and easy to use.
I started to encounter an error with partially paid bills that I emailed the developer about and had a response immediately! The problem was fixed within the day and I received continual communication about the process. Amazing service and good to know the developer will quickly resolve issues that may arise.

Notes Gone

I have the paid version and I had a lot of information in the notes section of each bill and now it’s all gone. Also the summary total for 7 day and 14 day upcoming bills is gone. In fact I don’t even see upcoming bills anymore

Worked fine for a year

This app worked ok for an entire year and then one day it decided to move all my repeating bill and income dates to different days. It somehow moved every bill and payday that was on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, to Thursday… for the entire rest of the year! Not only did it change all future billings and paydays, it also changed all my history. This is not something I did because it didn’t just move one bill or income, it moved EVERYTHING. I just opened the app one day and everything was scrambled. Not very reliable when I’m using it to keep from being late and stay on schedule. Pretty sure I even paid for this app so that’s very disappointing.

Almost 5 starts… almost

There’s a couple things I think that would boost this apps rating in my book, and make paying for a subscription make sense.

1. Debt track/updates.
I think it’d be very useful if I could list a total number for a specific debt, once I list payments for the debt and link them, the total number drops so I can see current balances (or close to exact) for the debts I end up paying off.

2. Bank running balances on calendar view.
I like you can link your bank and it’ll show the updated balance within the app, unfortunately when I go to the next month and add an income date, it no longer gives me a running bank balance and makes it seem like my “income” is the only income available. This makes it hard to see what my true balance will be per day/week since I’m not able to see a true value listed.

Example: I have $1000 dollars in my account right now, It’s the 7th of the month and I get paid on the 10th. I then add my income ($1000)to the 10th, as well as bills ($900). Rather than this showing up as $1100 on the 10th it will show as $100 since income-bills on that day.

If I was able to add existing income to that date as well, or make it visually known I will have a carry over balance i would enjoy this app way more and provide a 5 star rating.

Tracking a debt with a dropping balance You can either link a personal loan account by "Connecting Bank" or you can manually add debt as an account. Once the debt account is created we track your balance as you pay it down: * Go to the Activity tab * Make sure the Accounts section is selected * Tap View all accounts * On the Accounts view tap the + button in the top right and either "Connect Bank" or "Add a manual account" * For manual account choose "Personal Loan" as the account type (or one of the other debt account types) 2. Seeing your balance over time: * Go to the Activity tab * Make sure the Accounts section is selected * Select any account From there you'll see your account balance over time on a line chart, which should give you the "true value" picture you're looking for rather than just a single day's income-minus-bills figure. The best!

I’ve been using this app since 2022 and I wouldn’t be able to manage my finances without it! The team continues to make improvements as well as enhancements to the app. They quickly respond to any questions or concerns. I’ve tried other bill tracking/budgeting/expense tracking apps and this one wins hands down. Very easy to use and set up!

DID I MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE?

I did extensive research on Bill/Expense tracking apps and that’s how I found Bill Tracker Pro. It offers a lot of choices for tracking Income, Bills, Expenses, etc. However, I have emailed Support a few times with no response yet. I have specific questions related to setting up the app correctly & also wanted clarification and further detail on a few settings. Not too much to ask. I just emailed the app again, so I’ll see if I get a response this time. I did pay for the app at the annual rate of $29.99. I wanted to use an app that I own and not one that charges a monthly subscription fee.

Free version was better

Why am I getting a notification of a bill due when I have already paid the bill? Who is the unintelligent person that created this app that thought to themselves, “ I’ll bet everybody would love getting notified about a bill they’ve already paid.” The free version was better, I’ll pay double if you bring it back. This app is garbage.

Best Bill Tracking app

I have been using this app for as long as I remember the annual fee is very reasonable. Only thing i don’t like is the website its ok sometimes it doesn’t work on my work computer but besides that its great.
UPDATE: The developer of the app responded to my review saying they are updating the website. I have now upgraded the review to five stars. I will be paying for this service indefinitely. They deserve every penny this app is amazing and thank you to the developers for caring about the users.
