## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-09-04

BilliPaid 1.2 — a small fix release.

FIXED
• Editing a card's payment bill could quietly disconnect it from the card. When that happened, marking the payment as paid stopped lowering the card's balance. Existing accounts are repaired automatically the next time you open the app. If a card was affected, its balance may read higher than you actually owe — worth checking against your statement.
• Card payment bills are now clearly marked as managed from the Cards tab, so they can no longer be reclassified by accident.

IMPROVED
• Balance reminders now arrive as a single notice listing every card that needs updating, instead of a separate reminder for each card every time you open the Cards tab.
• Marking bills paid or unpaid is noticeably faster on larger accounts.

Privacy hasn't changed: no bank linking, no analytics, no tracking. Ever.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-05

BilliPaid 1.1.1 — our first big update since launch.

NEW
• Debit & bank accounts — track a checking or debit account alongside your credit cards.
• Income — add your paychecks and other income in the Bills tab to see what's actually coming in.
• Payment history — press and hold any bill to see everything you've paid on it, plus what's coming up next.
• Reminders — get a notification before a bill is due or a card payment lands. Choose how far ahead, and turn reminders off for any single bill.
• App Lock — keep your bills behind Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
• Encrypted backups — protect your exported backup with a passphrase.

IMPROVED
• iCloud now keeps your bills and cards up to date across your devices.
• Full VoiceOver and Dynamic Type support, and High Contrast now applies throughout the app.
• Cards with a balance but no minimum payment are flagged, so nothing slips through.
• Card payments stop automatically at payoff, with the final payment adjusted to whatever is actually left.
• Your data is backed up automatically before any upgrade that changes how it's stored.

FIXED
• Paid bills no longer show as unpaid after switching between weekly and monthly views.
• Fixed duplicate bills and cards appearing after an iCloud sync.
• Marking a card as paid no longer stops its payment from being scheduled again later.
• Card balances can now go below zero, so an overdraft or an out-of-date balance is visible instead of hidden.

Privacy hasn't changed: no bank linking, no analytics, no tracking. Ever.
