## What is Bill/Split?

■ Integrated Calculator & One-Tap Bill Splitting:
After calculating the total, simply tap the "/2" button (with optional tip settings) to instantly see the amount each person owes.
You can customize these splitting options in the settings.

■No data? A cute icon will pop up!

■ Bill Photo & Calculator on the Same Screen:
Constantly switching your gaze between the bill and your phone can lead to errors.
By displaying the bill and the calculator on the same screen, verifying figures becomes much easier!

■ Supports 4 Groups of 4 Memory Slots:
Save calculated amounts into one of the four slots, then tap the sum button to get the grand total.
Perfect for scenarios involving splitting costs among multiple people, taking turns paying, or settling up at the end.
The interface text changes color to alert you when all four slots are full.

■ Intuitive Calculation Method:
It bypasses standard "order of operations" rules (where multiplication/division take precedence over addition/subtraction). Instead, it follows the way people naturally think when splitting a bill:
"Add up all the amounts first, then divide by the number of people."
The app calculates from left to right: entering "10 + 8 / 2" yields 9, not 14.

■ Reliable and Convenient:
・Works entirely offline—usable even in restaurants with poor signal.
・No registration or login required.
・No ads.
・No personal data collection.
・Supports Dark Mode; large, clear fonts for easy reading.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.8 — 2026-10-10

New
• Live: on the Bill page, read the bill through the camera without taking a photo. Pinch to zoom.
• Recommend to a friend: tap the paper plane in Settings to share the app.
• Layout fixes for foldable and some large text sizes.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-05

• Switching from + or − to × or ÷ now adds brackets, so it's clear the whole sum is multiplied.
• Highlight the special sections in the manual with yellow text.
• Choose the icon shown when the screen is blank (Settings).
• Fixed the ⊖ icon being cut off on the Help page.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-02

■ No number on screen? You get a panda instead of 0, so nothing gets multiplied by 0 by mistake.
■ C clears only the number you just typed and keeps the rest of your sum.
■ The 0 key is now as wide as the other digit keys.
■ Fixed the layout breaking at very large text sizes.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-30

- Settings: new 10%-90% options for taking a fixed share of a total.
- History: each entry can now be deleted on its own.
- Fix bug : chained calculation now uses only the numbers the user typed (for example, 33 + 66 + = gives 99).
- Layout: the display keeps one height, and UI improvements.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-24

1. Changed the record panel to be collapsed by default.
2. Changed the color of the cumulative figures to light gray to avoid confusion with user-entered numbers.
3. Adjusted the color of the record panel button.
