### 2/5 — App with poor internationalization support

*2026-08-16, version 5.0.5*

This app does not have a way to convert units from metric to standard so it shows everything in km and Celsius. Disappointed that the app does not have a way to convert the units

### 2/5 — Connection issues

*2026-08-04, version 5.0.5*

It takes quite a long time to connect to the vehicle and then drops the connection randomly.
The features are nice well thought

### 3/5 — Bro chill

*2026-08-01, version 5.0.5*

Love the app. Very useful. It just won’t stop asking me to review. Like 3 or four times per app opening it asks me to review it. I never write reviews. I don’t want to review it. Chill.

### 5/5 — Best

*2026-07-24, version 5.0.5*

### 5/5 — Nice

### 4/5 — Like it

*2026-07-18, version 5.0.5*

It’s my daily app highly recommend it

### 4/5 — Best invention but

*2026-07-15, version 5.0.5*

I really like the app, have it all the time as dashboard on my android screen. But I live in USA, so even though I select units of measure to be Miles and Fahrenheit, the Target Temperature Coolant is always in Celsius. So when comparing to actual coolant temp and oil temp, i have to do the math versus being able to compare directly

### 5/5 — 👍🏼

*2026-07-13, version 5.0.5*

👍🏼

### 2/5 — Keep exiting off of the app

*2026-07-11, version 5.0.5*

Every time I click on the app and connect to the car once I begin scanning it will exit off of the app

### 5/5 — Great and easy

*2026-07-08, version 5.0.5*

Worth it. Valuable and easy to use tool!

### 4/5 — Keeps asking for a review

*2026-07-07, version 5.0.5*

Stop asking for a review every time I open the app otherwise it works well

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-07-04, version 5.0.5*

Stop asking for reviews bruh its a good app all around but cmon man review spams is crazy

### 3/5 — Good - could be great

*2026-07-02, version 5.0.5*

I’ve bought the app and accompanying ODB connector for my daughter’s Mini. The app delivers on the sensor values and error codes reading but it lacks some very basic UI features, for example a simple search or filter for adding sensor values to the log - the list is huge and the names are cryptic, often too long to be fully readable. This would be an easy fix.
Secondly, less technical users would find it helpful to select a predefined set of values they should log, for example ‘Check for timing issues’ or ‘Check common diesel issues’ rather than only providing cryptic labels that mean very little to list people (ie Target camshaft inlet value opens). Much more useful would be some preconfigured sets to health-check certain engine functions and an explanation on what the values mean - is this number healthy or not? How should this number align with that one?
The app gives you the values but zero guidance or actual help with basic diagnostics.
Happy to revise my rating when some updates have been made.

Idea: AI integration to interpret logged values. I did this manually but it’s pretty tedious. The app would be the perfect example where AI input would help, especially once it knows which vehicle it is connected to.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-08-22, version 5.0.5*

Found no faults on a 323i that wasnt running and useless with a 335i.
Dont recommend

### 1/5 — Does not work with recommended dongle

*2026-08-20, version 5.0.5*

This app fails to connect to my E92 using the OBD BT dongle their site recommends as best (OBDLink CX). Also, their site listed E46 compatibility, but after it failed to connect I contacted them and they said it does not - yet they did not offer a refund.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS APP DEVELOPER.

### 1/5 — Work out the bugs before you sell to customers

*2026-08-17, version 5.0.5*

The app is supposed to be able to open or close the JCW Muffler flap on my 2021 Mini Cooper S but it doesn’t. I contacted the company multiple times and still didn’t work. Don’t waste your money on this app.

### 1/5 — Stop prompting review

*2026-08-14, version 5.0.5*

Stop prompting review after I’ve starred it

### 1/5 — Terrible connectivity

*2026-08-09, version 5.0.5*

This app is absolute garbage. I have the MHD universal adapter and it takes on average 30 tries to get this app to connect. MHD and bimmerfix connect instantly. What a waste of money!

### 1/5 — $40????

*2026-07-30, version 5.0.5*

$40 to register my battery after I already bought the gadget. Ridiculous

### 1/5 — Asks for feedback 10 seconds in

*2026-07-24, version 5.0.5*

This app repeatedly asks me to provide feedback just 10 seconds into use and repeats often if I don’t answer. Well, here’s your answer.

### 1/5 — Unless

*2026-06-27, version 5.0.5*

Useless app doesn’t do what I needed. How can I get a refund

### 1/5 — Pretty disappointed

*2026-06-19, version 5.0.5*

Didn’t drive the car for 6 weeks and the CarPlay app is telling me I have no Sensor Values selected. Tried rebooting the phone, disconnecting/reconnecting the phone, deleted/reinstalled the app (really lost all my sensor values now!), added back a test sensor value…CarPlay app still can’t talk to the phone. I’m running iOS 18.5..is that the issue?!?

### 1/5 — Cannot connect to xA WiFi adapter

*2026-06-11, version 5.0.5*

Does not connect to the xA WiFi adapter or E series BMWs. Meanwhile the xHF app works flawlessly with the same adapter and car.
