Booked a cash trip a day before with an estimate of $73BDS. Waited for the driver to arrive and the trip already started even though the driver wasn’t with me and the trip ended with a $119 price and a $42BDS waiting charge. Reached out to support and they just closed the chat with zero response. Trash service and app! ### 1/5 — Tricky fare prices *2025-08-26, version 6.0* The app gave me a price for the trip then doubled it once the trip ended. ### 5/5 — Bimride Got Me All Over *2025-05-04* BIMRIDE is an amazing app! Very similar to Uber and Lyft, it assigned me a driver in the area within seconds. The safety measures as well made sure I had a safe trip without any mishaps. 10/10 definitely will use it again ### 1/5 — Expect delays *2025-01-04, version 1.0.1* If you’re used to using Uber or Lyft, you’re in for a surprise. The booking process works the same, and the app gives you an arrival time. But it’s never correct. Every driver that has accepted has been further away than the app says. When you try to confirm a time via the app’s messaging system the drivers say “I’m coming” and they will be there in 10 min. They always take longer. Then when you cancel a ride you can get a refund for the ride but not the booking fee. If you are in no rush, I’m sure this app will be fine for you. But if you’re making dinner, reservations, have an activity to get to or a flight departure, don’t expect this to get you there on time. ### 5/5 — Excellent support and customer service. *2024-12-23, version 1.0.1* Responsive and reliable. Closest thing to uber in Barbados and you’re taken care of. Will continue to use everytime I visit ### 5/5 — App Development Headed In Positive Direction *2024-11-02* I must say that this app is headed definitely in the right direction in terms of it being very comparable to apps used in other countries, such as Uber and Lyft used in the USA. I used the app during my entire five day stay and was very impressed with the ease of requesting a driver, minimal wait time, and reasonable rates. Occasional technical glitches like the app freezing up were understandable. The app provided an overall wonderful rideshare experience being able to see the routes in real-time and the rates beforehand. I was able to get a ride in minutes! ### 5/5 — A good competitor for Pick Up Barbados *2024-09-03* The app has just started and already I can say that this app is a good competitor to another cab booking app in Barbados Puck Up Barbados However, the creators of the app should not relax. Here are a few recommendations: 1. Make the credit card linked to your personal account so that you don't have to enter your card details every time you order a cab. 2. Make credit card debit only if the driver has accepted the order. 3. Make it possible to send tips to drivers in the app by debiting tips from the credit card. 4. Add filters in the app when ordering a cab, for example: air conditioning, non-smoking driver. Or for example preferences in music. 5. Add additional services to the app. For example, courier services of the driver. For example, I don't want to rive but I need to send documents, why not use a service from the cab)? **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback.
