I’d say it works about as well as you do, psychologically. Assuming you’ve found a solid frequency that will (we hope) will maximize synchronization between that exact frequency and your target brainwave frequency. 

Moreover, this is some very new and as yet highly theoretical concept, IMO. And the better your headphones are, generally, the better it is likely to work. (Don’t use earbuds. Just… take this one on faith). Like when your math teacher one time, just one, suggests the class “just accept on faith the fact that any number raised to the power of 0.0 will always equal 1.0. Yes, to include all negative numbers as well as all positive.” (And hopefully he is not then lynched for heresy).

I’m quite unconvinced it is worth what the developer sells the app for, even at the (eventually) cheapest price based on a year’s subscription paid initially, not “just” month-to-month.

You changed it and now the timer does not work. I use it to time my meditations - it was straightforward and now it’s frustrating. Where are the instructions?

I have all the features I have ever needed from this app. Keep bugging me about “premium“ features each time I open the app and watch how fast I delete it and remove 2-3 stars. Go bother *new* users with that.

Installation is possible, but it does not work on the iPad Air as of 22 May 2026.

睡眠時のお供としてもう5年以上使っています。ここ最近、タイマー機能のマイナーチェンジやビート以外の音を流すことのできる機能がつき、容量が重たいのかスマホが熱暴走してしまいます。寝ている横に置いているのですが、スマホの熱さで目を覚ましてしまうほどでした。タスクキルをしたらすぐ熱が治まったため、こちらのアプリで熱くなったと思います……。熱暴走の点もそうですし、以前のシンプルかつ機能的な部分が好きだったため、こちらのアプリはアンインストールいたしました。バイノーラルビートはとても良く、寝付きが悪い私には合っていたので、様々な機能が使えてスマホの容量に余裕のある方にはピッタリかと思います。

Tolle App, cool wäre nur, wenn die Hintergrundgeräusche nicht automatisch an wären; ich schalte sie immer wieder aus.

Used to be great. Mixes with other apps and so you get your beats with whatever meditation track you want. 

Now this app is constantly putting white noise over the beats, which defeats the purpose. Just a worse experience

I don’t review apps at all, but have to for this. The free trial is very confusing, especially how to stop it. My free trial consists of 2 wavelengths and I can’t get anything else. Trust me I’ve tried. Now I can’t stop the free trial. I tried all I know how to stop it so please help.

This is a simple app that deserves a single time purchase. Now the owner has decided to vibe code his way into milking old customers. My purchase no longer does anything!!! Avoid at all costs.

I downloaded this app using the free trial and was told I would be notified before the trial ended. Unfortunately, I never received a notification and was charged for a full year.

I contacted Apple to request a refund because I was only one day past the trial period, but they declined to reimburse me. At this point, I honestly can’t say whether the app works because I haven’t had a chance to use it enough to evaluate it.

What I can say is that I’m very disappointed with the trial and billing experience. I’m now stuck paying a yearly subscription for an app I don’t use. A reminder before the trial ended would have prevented this.

I used to like the app but not anymore. I used it for years to help drift off to sleep or as part of my meditating. I paired the binaural beats with rain sounds and it was perfect. But now every time I open the app it insists I pay for it when what I need is free. I did try the paid version, I was charged but was never given premium access. There was no one to contact so Apple just refunded me. Surprisingly, I paid about £2.99 (i think) and that was for lifetime access, just a few days after Apple refunded me the price jumped to £4 or £5/month 😱

The rain sounds are now “premium”, which is rather annoying. I’m guessing whoever made the app ended up selling it or something because all it wants is paid users. I’d happily pay for something if I could benefit from the premiums services but not at the cost they want.

I have used the app for years and once paid for the everything bundle of in app purchases. Have since come to use the app and lost all access to the features I once paid for. I am very disappointed and feel misled. I understand that apps and pricing models must update with time and popularity but at the very least honor your original customers that helped you get to that point
