## What is Binaural Location?

Binaural Location goes beyond the simple pan control; it allows you to place your audio at a specific location anywhere in a virtual space around the listener. The location of the L and R control points on the screen controls the location of two virtual speakers. Based on the angle and distance from the speakers to the listener's ears, the app creates a realistic impression that the sound is actually coming from the specific location of the L and R points.

Is it just a fancy pan control?

No. This plugin models three different aspects of the sound location at the same time, and none of them is a pan control:
1. The delay due to the distance between the sound source and the listener's left and right ears.
2. When the left ear hears sound coming from the right side, it gets less high-frequency clarity because the sound waves are coming around from the other side of the head.
3. The volume of the sound changes depending on the distance between the listener and the speakers.


Does this plugin work for listeners who use speakers instead of headphones?

How is this useful for making music?

You'll hear the Doppler effect gently shifting the pitch up and down and the sounds move closer and farther from your ears, and the volume sways up and down in accordance with the changes in distance. This is a nice effect, similar to a Leslie speaker and a little bit like a stereo chorus but with more emphasis on the modulated filtering than on pitch shifting. It works especially well with reverb, and makes a sound like a modulated reverb effect.

### 2/5 — Muitos problemas com Logic Pro

O plugin é muito bom, o problema é que ele ao funciona direito no Logic Pro, sempre dá bug, o canal onde ele é colocado fica mudo, o projeto fecha sempre, o plugin simplesmente não funciona.
Por favor arrume isso, pois o plugin é muito bom, sou cliente da Blue Mangoo , tenho quase todos os plugins e o Binaural Location é o único que não funciona.

Why such bugs? Wow, so boring.
The idea is good. But the intention too? 
When the bug is a loud noise is maddening. Maybe because of it last week was so weird for me. But when turns everything mute isn’t nothing agradable.

This app is just a fancy stereo panning plugin. There is no binaural effect whatsoever. The “orbit” function is essentially a stereo tremolo like that of a Fender Rhodes. GarageBand already offers that. I’m utterly disappointed, and I’m out 5 dollars.

I like this plugin it’s good but there’s problems I’m having. I’m having trouble getting the audio to sound more like it’s actually going around you on mono orbit mode. Can you make it where it could sound more like a 3D type of binaural effect.

And one more thing. 
Could you add that feature where you could make the audio go above you, or below you by choice 
And make an auto button for that too.

Love this effect, it reminds me of being on a fairground waltzer circa '85, feeling sick while intermittently hearing swooshes of KC & The Sunshine Band as I spun round.   The only difference is, no one has a mullet.   That aside, it can bring interest and variety to many different sound sources and styles, and it's a lot of fun to boot.  My only gripe is that I would like the two fields to have more independent control as although the two field centres can be moved independently, the orbit, direction and speed of travel remains the same for both.  Yeah I know, I want the moon on a stick. :)

uso muy seguido esta app para agregar mejores efectos a mis sonidos y lamentablemente en un momento empezó a fallar horrible, siempre que agregaba el efecto y reproducía el sonido se escuchaba un molesto e irritante sonido estruendoso que arruina una canción por completo, tuve que quitar el efecto de todas las pistas porque falla horrible

IF you ever owned a pair of JVC Binaural headphones, back in the day, now you can do that kind of stuff with an app. Binaural Location is easy to use and capable of ear-boggling sound control, or subtle rearrangements of individual instruments in perceived space
