If anyone’s phone don’t work or have bad cell service the binbox employees will notice and immediately engage offering assistance! App downloaded easy thanks to apple, registration gave an error , was lagging , password set up no luck, I restarted app and then it said my email was already used , email reset gave me an invalid link several times. Only had 2 reps to help at least 20 people that were frustrated because concert was about to start , no organization for lines so any one would just go and cut in front of other people that had been waiting at least 20 mins or more. System issues withtheir system plagied the whole experience. If you guys are reading this, I hope I get refund. Please better your system, be organized, and maybe get PIN LOCKER SYSTEM instead of bluetooth/wifi that doesnt work consistently. ### 1/5 — Did Sam Bankman Fried create this money grab? *2023-07-29, version 1.4.1* MLB creates rules that force you to spend money on this “service”. All you have to do is put your “valuables” in this “safe” little box surrounded by some of Baltimore’s finest fentanyl using citizens and everything will be just fine. Criminals (even ones in Baltimore), can see that if they have a flat head screwdriver and a tiny distraction that they can pop open and steal your belongings easily. Shame on you and MLB. I’d include Baltimore in the shame game but there is no shame on that dirty city. ### 1/5 — Zero star rating if I could *2023-07-05, version 1.4.1* I overpaid $13 to store my bag that was 1” bigger than this unmentioned limit at Nationals Stadium in DC. We waited in line for a good 30 minutes before being kicked off to Binbox locker area to then wait in line again and missing the beginning of the game. All while I saw other people literally walk in with backpacks. They had this outside an event and were telling people they needed to check a bag if they had one or they would not be let in but they were in different uniforms than the actual security at the event and many people got into the event with bags when going through real security. It seems like they are standing outside of events and scaring people into checking their things, when it’s unnecessary, to make a profit. ### 1/5 — Expensive and bad *2026-06-13, version 2.3.0* I paid $20 for these guys to throw my bag in a pile and take forever to find it again. Could be free and bad, or expensive and amazing, but expensive and bad is a poor business model. ### 1/5 — Empty app *2026-04-02, version 2.3.0* I wanted info about Binbox lockers at a particular venue. Binbox web site said you have to install the app to search. So I did. Then it made me create an account just to open the app. So I did. Then I found that no matter what you search for, the app doesn't think there are any lockers or events. At all. Literally, a blank seatch results page for every category. Brilliant. Needless to say, it wasn't worth the storage space on my phone. And since the company makes it this hard to find any info about their services, it seems pretty shady to me. I wasted time downloading this app, which caused me to miss about 15 minutes of an event at Capital One Arena in DC. To make things worse, the box wouldn’t open after the event, and a staff member had to unbolt it to retrieve my bag. On top of that, they charged me nearly $18 for a small box. Already frustrating but I get it. We are sent over to these lockers for rent. The sign is in Spanish, so scanning the qr with my camera doesn't take me to the app download. When I got the app downloaded and paid for a locker, the locker was malfunctioning and wouldn't open. The app is confusing and the lockers don’t work and sync properly. We had issues with renting a locker, closing it and then retrieving the items due to app and locker issues. Honestly, locker process, Couldn’t have been easier. Super smooth. The staff they had working were awesome, really, really nice people who actually cared and made sure everything was set up right. They were on point, helpful, and made it easy for us to store our stuff and get inside the game without stress. Everything worked perfectly, no issues at all. I really appreciated how attentive they were, it’s such a simple thing, but it made the whole night way better. Definitely gonna be using Binbox again the next time I’m down at a match.
