I just WISH they would put a small red circle over the group’s thumbnail when the group posts something new. Then the circle would disappear once you have read the new messages. Like iPhones do with texts and emails. I am in 10+ groups between all of my kids, and Binderly does tell me there is a new post somewhere. It just doesn’t tell me where! So I check all 10 groups! I have just learned about the inbox tab which is helpful. It gives me easy access to all the information I need! ### 5/5 — Best Time Saver EVER! *2023-11-30* I’m am a single mama that is always looking for ways to stay on top of life. SchoolBinder allows me to be in the know of everything going on with my kiddo at school. It allows me to directly communicate with the teacher, alert me if there is an opportunity for her to participate in, or reminders of events coming up. I have been able to volunteer in school with easy signups taboot. Icing on the cake are the discounts for local vendors! No group chats, notifications often miss. UX is bad. ### 1/5 — No help *2025-05-16, version 1.8.4* I submitted a help request months ago. Now school is ending in to the point of spending time saying talk to your child’s teacher of using another way for updates. The app just will not open 98% of the times I tried. It’s now 5/16/25, 16:35, still no word. My app still does not open 99% of the time. ### 1/5 — Just bad. *2024-10-03, version 1.7.3* I don’t know why our school switched to this. Binderly is just bad all around, lacks features and UI is terrible. It kicks me out but I cannot log back in and miss out on real time questions / coordination because it constantly tells me “something went wrong”. Is this being looked at by anyone, or is an update coming upcoming that will address these issues? I have to completely delete the app, reinstall it, and login again. What is going on?! It looks like it’s loading and will stay on that blinking screen forever!!!!! The other parents keep telling me to close the app to refresh it but it’s not working. I wish the school would use something else that isn’t so archaic. I feel like I’m back in the 1900’s using dial-up internet with how much this stalls. Something went wrong *2024-08-15, version 1.6.18* This is a terrible app. It logs me out randomly. When I try to log back in, it just says, “Uh Oh! Something went wrong.” Try to change my password, “Uh Oh! Something went wrong”. I TRY AND MAKE A NEW ACCOUT AND IT JUST SAYS “Uh Oh! Something went wrong”. ITS A TERRIBLE APP IM FORCED TO USE BUT CANT GET PAST THE LOG IN PAGE!!!! ### 1/5 — Worst app I’ve ever been forced to use *2024-08-15, version 1.6.18* Logs you out randomly and won’t let you log back in. I love it as an educator but even more as a parent. So tired of all of the apps, the different teachers and administrators want us to download so we could stay informed. I’m tired of schools pushing my kids to social media if they want to know what’s happening at the school. It’s time schools get on board and buy an app like this that is comprehensive and communicates with all stakeholders. I really appreciate the development group and they’re openness to feedback. I know it’s fairly new but it’s amazing. All schools need to take a look at this. Make your life easier and use this app 💯 ### 5/5 — Awesome tool for a coach *2023-12-02* As a high school coach, I had multiple communication avenues before SchoolBinder. For example, I had too many GroupMe’s to count: parents, player, senior, juniors, etc. I had way too many emails, text groups, Google chats of the same groups. SchoolBinder has allowed me to consolidate all of these avenues of communication into one single source for all information.
