Apparently the folks behind the app don’t realize there are both trans women and trans men, because there’s only an option for “trans.” 🙄

I’ve been using it for a week. The only contact I’ve been able to make is what people who put their telegram or Instagram on their profile.. I was actually going to pay for this. I’ve contacted customer support many times. It’s a very inactive app.

very often i try to see diff profiles and the screen glitches and says i’ve seen all of them even when i adjust my preferences so i restart the app which does not always work.  i also cant see peoples messages unless i match with them or pay for it and then there are not a lot of people even using this app so like what am i getting out of this.  its a good concept though i think it could be a lot better just needs improvements

I swear this app is frozen, or I am really undesirable and no one is interested. In any case, I purchased premium and nothing happened. No messages no matches. Every time I would select the message me option it would unselect! Trying to find anyone to help
Me figure the app out was a dead end. Super disappointed because this felt like the app I’ve been looking for- but I feel like it’s just a barren wasteland of pictures…are people really on this?? Seems like there is no activity . Every time I click on online it tells me no one is online! How is that possible?? Again, sad face.

Getting white screened every time I open the app right after spending an hour working on profile. Tried reinstalling app and restarting my phone. There should be no reason for incompatibility my iPhone is updated and the app initially worked. I can’t get in touch with support either so hopefully this will help me do so.

Full of fake profiles. You don’t get any matches within the distance you set in preferences. I’m in London & set my distance to within 50 miles. Zero matches for that but loads of “matches” from the US, Phillipines, Australia, Poland. And all quite obviously fake or scam profiles. The app is a con & total scam. Definitely avoid.

FYI— when downloading the app, at the “Add a short bio” prompt, the word “significantly” is (in my opinion, very comically) misspelled.

The app shows me mostly users I’ve just swiped left on or reported. I have de-selected couples from my search settings, yet the app still shows me people listed as couples. The app also shows me people who are not looking for my gender. I had to upload my photos multiple times, yet some of them still don’t upload. The Bindr feed section is exclusively scammers and bots.

It’s nothing but bots wanting you to talk to them on Telegram so they can scam you. This entire app is one big scam that I assume the devs are in on, or they would have created better safeguards by now. There’s not a single real person on there other than those of use looking. So, please do NOT download this app.

**Developer response:** We go to great lengths to flag and ban anyone that appears to not be who they say they are. As the developer, I can assure you I receive no benefit from spam accounts and want nothing more for them to be deleted. If you report them, we take it very seriously and ban the account as well as any other account the person may be associated with. We take user safety and security very seriously and invite you to report anyone you feel is not legitimate. I personally review these reports and we’ve recently seen an influx of growth to around 400 thousand users so every bit helps. Please report them, we do read them! Thank you for helping keep Bindr safer for everyone.

I cancelled my account but am still being billed. I cannot access the website without error messages. As soon as I subscribed for a paid tier after many days of FRAUDULENT notifications about people like my profile, i requested a refund after seeing it was just ai chatbots. As soon as I deleted my account, i was locked out of seeing/accessing the website. The contact link on the app store doesnt even bring me to a real link.

**Developer response:** I’m sorry to hear about your experience, we do not create accounts or use any ai chatbots whatsoever. If you suspect a user to be fraudulent we have in app reporting and take it very seriously. As mentioned throughout our website and FAQ section, payments are managed through Apple directly and can be unsubscribed at anytime through your Apple account. This should be the same for any app that you use. As for the deleted account losing access, yes, if you delete your account that account will lose access to all past messages, features, etc and will need to be registered again. That is the purpose of account deletion and why we recommend and offer the ability to deactivate as well.

I didn’t have a positive experience my first go on bindr so I deleted the app. Months have gone by and I thought I’d I’ve it a second chance. When I try to log in it says “no record of account”, when I try and create a new account it says “email address is already taken”. Might want to fix this Devs. Users that want to return cannot. That’s losing you subscribers and money. Not a very smart business strategy.

This is an incredibly inclusive app, no matter what or who you’re searching for. You’re not bombarded with 1000s of advertisements, and not being asked to join a premium version 24/7 is very nice as well. My partner and I went on to check it out and as an open couple dating can prove difficult on apps. Binder is straight forward and to the point.
