Thank you, Shihab ### 4/5 — Improve the "where to watch" *2026-06-27* I think when I press on a network on where to watch it should try to open the streaming app instead of showing me a list of other movies on that network. I wish it was cheaper to subscribe, because I can’t really justify it at the price, but would love a one time paid version to add extra features. The only problem I have is that my data sometimes goes missing. I’ll add films to my lists, and then the next time I go into the app, they’re gone and I have to add them again… ### 3/5 — Beautiful but lacks practicality *2026-05-13, version 1.4.0* Don’t get me wrong, this app is stunning visually. But the visuals are completely overlooked by jumpy and jittery tabs and elements possibly causing the frequent crashes. I’ll revisit this app in the future to see if issues are corrected but for now, I’ll have to stick to alternatives. Also very expensive compared to other apps that do the same thing. ### 4/5 — Trakt Issue *2026-05-07, version 1.3.7* First off let me say that the app is actually beautiful. The information on all the Movies and TV Shows are so well done. Having the jump scare information is something I didn’t know I needed. Superb Job to all the developers! The only thing that really bothers me is that when I connect my Trakt account everything comes through but when I go back onto my Trakt app it has changed loads of my shows watched date (not movies) to the time of connecting my Trakt account to Binge. It might be my fault but I had to change over 1000 shows back to when I originally watch them. If this is something that can be sorted out, it’s a 5 star app from me. ### 3/5 — Beautiful but buggy *2026-04-30* App looks amazing, so that’s cool. That said, it’s buggy and crashes often. Really no complaints. Only hesitancy I have is an abandonment which indie developers are known to do, however, having the export feature available calms my nerves. Fully switching to binge ### 5/5 — Best TRAKT movie app *2026-03-20, version 1.2.4* If you want the best aesthetically pleasing TRAKT client app then I would highly recommend Binge. Is not only well designed but works amazingly for tracking all your movies and shows. And the best of all the developer I always keeping the app updated daily with new features and accepts feedback and user suggestions. Hopefully this is something being worked on? Edit: I had to lower my rating. Thank you, Shihab ### 1/5 — Developer’s latest “bait and switch” *2026-02-22* PSA: This developer drops a new app every six months with annual and lifetime(!!!) subscriptions, drops support for them in less than a year, and moves onto his next hobby app. I have fallen for his scam twice with his Aviary and his Mastodon apps, and refuse to let others get tricked by him. Just look at his developer website to see all of the other apps he’s developed that have somehow “disappeared” from the App Store. **Developer response:** Hi there, So sorry that you feel this way. You were probably affected by my sales of past apps (there were a few apps I had made in the past which I sold off as I had a full-time job and couldn't maintain them all, but still wanted them to get the love they deserved). Since then (and prior to that), I have always updated and maintained my apps. I push out multiple updates a week, even up to twice a day at times. I'm always working hard at making my apps better. I pour a lot of love and heart into the things I make. Thank you, Shihab ### 2/5 — Potential… *2026-07-14* I’d like to start with the pros. The app itself is beautiful, the ui is fantastic and there are some very unique features to Binge such as the jump scare timeline, the ability to see theatre showing times near you, the ability to see what time the movie will end if you start it now, etc. I really wish I could use this as my main tracking app but that’s where we encounter issues. I can’t get Trakt to sync at all, I’ll link my trakt but it won’t properly sync. It will sync a couple of items and everytime I try to resync it doesn’t. I’ve tried for weeks, I used this app weeks ago and encountered the same issue during the free trial, I left the app for a couple weeks came back paid the $5.99 for a week which is hefty but I want to like the app so bad that I did it anyways to no avail, Trakt sync does not work at all. I’ve reinstalled the app, cleared cache, signed out and resigned in, nothing works and putting everything in 1 by 1 is a dealbreaker. **Developer response:** Hi there, Thank you for the kind feedback and helpful insight. The only thing visible was the empty search bar at the top right, no keyboard to type. I am not sure if it’s a user error on my end (or if it was part of a subscription as I did not do a thorough read through). Dev seems to really care about about UI/UX which is massively appreciated. The bad: After searching for 3 or 4 different shows, it seems like all API calls just stop working. Search no longer works. Tapping a show to view details no longer works. Might need to check the API agreement with the third party provider. ### 2/5 — Glitchy *2026-03-25* Great concept and a nice design, but... it doesn't work. I go into my "Watching" list, select a show I didn't like and won't be continuing, and hit "Stop watching"—but it just stays stuck in the list of currently watched items. It provides a great one-stop shop for info on almost all English-language movies and shows. While the database for other languages could use an update—as I couldn't find a few titles I was looking for—the overall experience is fantastic. Amazing work on this, Shihab!
