Have to power down my IPhone to get out of it. Other than that it does the job . **Developer response:** The newest versions have an automated option. Just click the number of seconds between numbers, then press the play button. ### 4/5 — I miss all the color options for card matching. *2023-05-14* Gosh I really loved the simplicity of this app and I’ve used it for a while for my bingo nights but they recently did an update and now there’s only three different theme colors. It was really nice before when I could match the color of the screen to the proper bingo card we are playing so hopefully they will add more colors again soon. Otherwise this app has been great and very useful. **Developer response:** I don’t recall this free version ever having more than 3 themes. You might be thinking of Bingo Caller+. ### 3/5 — New update made it worse! *2023-04-27* We use this app at a retirement home. It worked great, until the new update changed things. It is a much worse experience as it takes much longer to do anything with the app. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. ### 4/5 — Update *2023-04-23* I use this app for the seniors I work with. This app was so simple and so easy to use with them. But this update has changed the game. What could be done in seconds before now adds time and consequence to the game. It’s a little irritating. The latest update has changed the background and number colors making it hard for them visually. My phone automatically updated to the new version. There is an important feature that is missing from the previous version. The “presentation” feature that would allow the app to display in 16:9 when plugged into a TV. Also, when hooked up to a TV, the controls would not show on the screen - but would still be available on the iPad (this made it look VERY professional)! I would have rated this a 5 star but when using this app through mirroring whether it’s TV or Apple TV the caller sound will not work. Doesn’t happen often but often enough where you’d have to announce the ball verbally. It does seem to work flawlessly if you set it up wired. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Can't close it out *2026-04-10* I have submitted a couple of suggestions and sent an email, but I haven't received any responses from the developers. There's no way to close the app on my iPhone 15 Pro Max! Each time I want close the app after calling bingo for my senior group, I have to completely turn off my phone and then turn it back on. A simple solution would be to add a "log out' button in the settings, so the user could close out and log off from the settings. Otherwise, it's just a waste of time to try to use it. ### 1/5 — No sound *2024-07-19* There’s no audio ### 1/5 — Very limited *2024-03-04, version 2.0.0* What about G 4? Or B 46? This app limits the numbers so that all of the smaller numbers are matched with B and I, middle numbers with N, and high numbers to G and O. But that doesn’t work with random Bingo sheets. I like the timer feature and if the voice would call, I could be hands free and be doing other things. Was considering paying for the bingo + but not taking the chance of it’s not going to call. That would be so awesome! What happened, can you help? ### 2/5 — Ehh *2022-11-20* Doesn’t actually call anything even when sounds are on. It’s “auto call” only does 1 at a time, so what’s the point of it? This latest version sucks. You can no longer keep you game going over a period of time. Once you close the app you lose all the called numbers. The only drawback is if you have a bingo card pattern where a letter group of numbers don’t need to be called you have to manually touch all the numbers in that letter group so they get called before you start the game and since they have already been manually called the app won’t call out that letter group of numbers. It really isn’t that big of a deal and takes less than a couple of seconds to do. All in all it works flawless and we have enjoyed many hours of fun with the family and friends using the app. To the developers a big thank you! ### 5/5 — Great app! *2023-03-16* As an activity director I do bingo 4 days a week and this app is a life saver! There aren’t any ads, you can change the background colors and even tap the rows you don’t want to use if you’re playing a specific game of bingo. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2022-01-16, version 1.1.0* This is a great Bingo calling app. Although it’s great, and I’m happy with it, there is an addiction that I think will make the app even more fun to use. The only suggestion I have is to put a timer on it so the numbers get called automatically at the same time on top of having someone pressing the button every time. It could be construed that someone is cheating because the numbers can be called with the master board also. **Developer response:** The latest versions have a timer option. I am using this for online Bingo that I am hosting and couldn’t be more pleased with the app. Ad free and intuitive. ### 5/5 — Nearly perfect bingo-calling app! *2020-02-28* There are other bingo-calling apps out there. You can pay, get banner ads, sent to Safari for ads, etc. None of them compare to this simple yet beautifully efficient app! We used this for a school bingo night to help young children and those for whom English is a second language to make sure they got the right numbers. We projected the app onto a big screen and everyone was a big fan of having that visual cue! We actually used a physical bingo cage to choose the numbers so it was nice the way the app allowed us to just record the numbers too. Two suggestions which would really make the app perfect: 1. Allow the ability to turn off all sounds. The voice reading of the numbers is great EXCEPT when the iPad or iPhone is also driving a speaker (wired or Bluetooth) and you don’t want to interrupt the music. As we were calling out the numbers over a mic we didn’t need the app to read them out anyway. 2. The ability to hide the control buttons in the top row when you are using an external screen is brilliant, but it is also flaky. We couldn’t get it to work consistently: sometimes it hides, other times it shows, and it seems to be very laggy if it even responds. As this is probably an Apple limitation I don’t hold this against the app, but it is a promise somewhat unfulfilled. Anyway, a brilliantly simple yet fully-featured app for calling and/or displaying bingo games.
