If you try and do it at the booking stage then it locks you out of the app for half an hour or so. Used to work fine, they don’t seem to be in a hurry to fix it though. Guess they like being paid in cash best. ### 1/5 — Absolutely rubbish *2022-03-04, version 33.5.27* What the hell! Used this app and it stopped working. Tried to reset my account details and it just kept rejecting password. Prior to this it would not let me make a booking kept looping round the from and to options. Terrible! ### 1/5 — Awful App *2021-05-29, version 33.2.6* I’ve booked on number of occasions. App has taken my money off my card, but booking has not gone through! Rang Taxi Office and they said ring Admin Office next working day! Why should I! Also, app stated taxi had been dispatched, then it stated that it hadn’t. Just awful App! Very disappointed on several occasions! ### 1/5 — Changing fare half way through journey *2020-12-21, version 33.0.14* Change fare half way through journey with out saying anything but not my problem take it up with the office. The app gave me a set price for my journey then added £8 on and took from my bank without informing me surely this is illegal. Worst taxi firm ever taxi driver was confrontational and just said not my problem told him I wanted to get out and wasn’t paying that price to be told I can’t and he wasn’t stopping ### 1/5 — Driver creepy *2020-04-29, version 32.1.5* Late for work to then creep my daughter right out first time she use taxi this morning and was made so uncomfortable and un safe to the driver trying to hit in her asking her all sorts and then for her phone number then Shouting her when she got out not on at all to made to feel like that ### 1/5 — Shocking service, appalling customer service. *2019-10-07, version 32.1.5* Three times now I’ve booked through the app for a taxi to come the next day, only to be left waiting on the day for up to half an hour. When phoning the operator, I’m told “the car is on the way, it won’t be long” and asked in a demeaning manner “did you book it through the app? Do you know it gives you priority?” Priority, really? After being left for half an hour wondering where my car is, I’m beginning to wonder if their view of priority is somehow different to mine. This company used to be a fantastic, reliable taxi company. Now, it’s a shoddy, poorly managed shadow of its former self. Don’t set this app. Don’t go with this company. You will be left waiting, and they won’t even bother to explain what the problem is. I would give 0 stars, but it’s not allowed unfortunately. Amy (a former loyal Binks customer) ### 1/5 — No point in using the App *2019-01-26, version 12.21.2* Over 30 minutes late having booked by the app it then prevents you form calling via the app as “all cars are booked” so called from my wife’s phone - told them the the booking number and was told they had no booking - asked why I should use the app - told they were fully booked - but could now see the booking - said it would be 15 to 20 minutes at that point my phone buzzed and said my taxi was arriving and it did. Do not use this app just call a taxi when you need one Binks are just not up to the job. If I had the 0 stars option that is what they would get for tonight. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2018-11-10, version 12.21.2* Better off calling direct.
