## What is Biochemistry?

The metabolism map shows the network of biochemical reactions. The metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids and energy metabolism are shown on the interlinked competence levels I-III. The entry-level (I) offers an overview of some reactions. On levels II and III, the presentation is more comprehensive and detailed. On the expert level (III), there are references to hereditary diseases. The level-specific representation of chemical formulae, names of enzymes, factors, and transporters can be made visible by tapping. Overview chapters (synopsis) summarise metabolic pathways. There is a search function and the possibility to mark areas, attach notes and set bookmarks.

Leider funktioniert die App nur auf dem Tablet/PC und nicht wie angegeben auf dem Smartphone. Sehr schade, deshalb einen Stern Abzug.

Ich kann leider keine vernünftige Rezension zu einer App schreiben die sich nicht ausführen lässt.
Die Idee die dahinter steht ist großartig-genau so eine Darstellung der biochemischen Prozesse in der Zelle hätte ich gerne während des Studiums gehabt!
Sobald die App stabil läuft bewerte ich neu.

This application has had a significant impact on my studies! The ability to simply see the whole metabolic map interconnect is vastly unique. Before I discovered this app I had to look up each reaction formula in my textbooks which got on my nerves. Great job to the developers and I can’t wait for future updates!
