## What is Biostacks?

Biostacks helps you track, understand, and improve your supplement routine while keeping your data private.

Build your supplement library by:

• Scanning barcodes with your camera
• Searching NIH DSLD and Open Food Facts data (well-known brands and popular supplements available offline)
• Entering supplements, doses, and nutrients manually
• Asking the built-in Apple Intelligence assistant (iPhone 15 Pro and newer)
• Asking your own AI assistant with a ready-made copy-and-paste prompt

Create routines and schedules that match how you take things:

• Daily, specific weekdays, or on/off cycles (like 5 days on, 2 off)
• Multiple times of day, from a morning multivitamin to an evening magnesium
• Peptide support: vial size, reconstitution volume, and a draw-volume calculator

Then get insights into your stack:

• StackScore, a 0 to 100 quality score for your whole routine
• Potential interactions based on public research, each with a source link
• Warnings when a nutrient total goes over its safe upper limit

Log doses with one tap, mark a whole stack taken at once, and long-press to skip a dose without breaking your streak. Reminders keep you on schedule, and smart tuning suggests a better reminder time when you consistently log late. Progress rings and streaks show your consistency day by day. You can also log a dose by asking Siri.

Ask questions in the on-device AI chat: review your routine, explain an ingredient, or change your stack by describing what you want. Every suggested change appears as a review you accept or reject, with undo. Prefer your personal assistant? Copy the prompt, paste the answer back, and review the changes the same way.

Set up your stack with the AI you already use. Tell Biostacks during setup that you use ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok, share the ready-made prompt with it, paste the reply, and your supplements are in.

- One tap sends an Ask-your-AI suggestion, and new users get popular starters like creatine and magnesium.
- The AI setup prompt now has a share button next to copy.
- Onboarding polish and small fixes.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-08-21

Biostacks now speaks your language. Sixteen new ones: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Thai, and Vietnamese.

It follows your phone's language on its own, and you can switch any time from Settings. Reminders arrive in your language too.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-05

You can now pause a supplement instead of deleting it. Off a cycle, run out, taking a break: pause it and it drops off your daily list without losing any of its history. Resume whenever, and your streaks and trends carry on as if nothing happened.

- Deleting a supplement now clears its intake history with it, so old entries don't linger in your stats.
- The daily check-in is quicker to fill in.
- New pricing, plus a one-time lifetime unlock if you'd rather not subscribe.
- Fixed buttons lagging on tap for a smoother experience
- Enhanced the navigation and search elements with liquid glass
- Small fixes throughout.

- Check-in trends are now free to view: mood, energy, sleep, and focus over the last 30 days.
- Tap the cost card to jump straight to a supplement that's missing its price.
