### 4/5 — Useful tool for tracking mood/ sleep etc .

*2026-01-30, version 2.0.16*

The descriptions of mood states are a bit specific. I would prefer these descriptions to be customisable , perhaps based on the selections of feelings listed elsewhere in the app. . A great and useful tool for self management though

### 4/5 — Beginning

*2025-10-18*

Just started using it, still getting a feel for it. I think it maybe helpful.

### 3/5 — Looks great

*2025-04-13, version 2.0.12*

But can seem to add my medications

### 4/5 — Mood and sleep tracker

*2024-11-17*

Very user friendly.
Thank you for this very useful tool

### 5/5 — So good

*2024-06-10, version 2.0.9*

So good, even has built in quiz

### 3/5 — Medications log could be improved.

*2024-05-02, version 2.0.9*

Just downloaded and the app seems impressive. One issue is that when logging daily medications, you can select how many times a day you take a dosage… but there isn’t any apparent way of logging when you’ve taken each dose individually. Eg one medication has a dosage in the morning and evening, but you can only tick a box that says both doses have been taken. This isn’t so good if you can’t remember whether you’ve taken either your morning, evening, or both doses over the course of a day.

I did try then saving the medication again with another 1x daily dosage to get past this, but the app won’t let you insert the same medication twice on a separate line.

Other than that, seems a good app!

### 4/5 — Very helpful for spotting patterns.

*2024-04-24*

I have found this app very helpful for spotting patterns. It gives me the information I need to be aware of my triggers, how my mood changes, what sleep I get (not enough) and I can reflect and plan my activities accordingly.

When I do go into my depression phase - it helps me to focus on what I am experiencing and I can record it to look at later to help me for when I next go down.

It is good to have it to hand on my phone so I can record wherever I am and capture what is happening for me to review later.

Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

### 5/5 — Great tracker!

*2024-04-04*

This is a great way to log your symptoms and identify patterns.

### 5/5 — Helps so much

*2024-03-24, version 2.0.9*

This app is amazing. Not only does it help me to dump all my feelings in the diary. You can see a graph of your mood changes. With that it helped my dr so much to assess how I am. Thank you bipolar uk! Super helpful. Would highly recommend xxx

### 5/5 — Easy to use. Unobtrusive reminders

*2024-03-10*

No too many things to fill out. Not too many choices. And easy place to put things that might impact mood/health.

### 4/5 — Good but could be improved

*2024-02-23, version 2.0.9*

First app of this kind that I’ve used. Always hated mood charts but the app makes it possible. However difficult to record taking of multiple meds several times of day accurately

### 5/5 — Helping so my much

*2023-12-25*

I love how well designed this app is. It is really easy to use and is set up for people with bipolar unlike other trackers so it’s useful. I’ve tried to keep up with other mood tracking apps and haven’t been able to keep up on them. But this one I’m keeping up on.

### 4/5 — Widgets please??

*2023-11-27, version 2.0.9*

I just wanted to come and write this because it’s not often (if at all actually that I write reviews). This app has helped me to keep track of mood, sleep, different behaviours etc and the layout is easy, and accessible.
I LOVE that you can add your own moods on there as many mood tracking apps don’t have this feature which is frustrating at times. As well as this the colour coded graph feature is simple and effective! I would love to see this feature have a year option too so you can see any seasonal or other patterns. The export tool is also incredibly useful!!

I think it could really benefit from being compatible with apple widgets/smart stacks.

When I get into low mood scale I often forget to track my mood as effectively, get distracted or actively avoid it. Having the app more accessible, such as front and center on a widget or smart stack would serve as an extra reminder to input the mood scale number today, even if nothing else is inputted. So then at the very least there is still a tracking of mood which can be used diagnostically.

Thanks for creating something so helpful!

### 5/5 — Best mood tracker for BP, hands down

*2023-11-06*

I’ve tried many tracker apps but this is hands down the best one I’ve used. It’s simple, intuitive, but it’s one of the only apps that I’ve used that seems as though it was made by people who actually understand how bipolar makes you feel. I never leave app reviews but it took me so long to find this app I figured I would try to help others find it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not very discreet

*2025-08-10, version 2.0.16*

Who wants a bipolar mood tracker labels “Bipolar UK Mood Tracker”. Want to function. What about a widget labelED BPUKMT?

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2025-06-02, version 2.0.14*

Don’t bother

### 1/5 — Review

*2024-04-02, version 2.0.9*

You can’t see previous months data. This is a big flaw.

### 1/5 — Unimpressed

*2023-09-23, version 2.0.8*

Very basic… too basic

### 1/5 — Muddled

*2022-04-02, version 2.0.1*

For the first 2 months it worked well, was clear and precise and informative but for the past 5 days, I can’t get it to work properly. Very annoying and frustrating. Help

### 2/5 — Can’t review past months

*2024-11-04, version 2.0.11*

Makes it v difficult to notice any patterns or trends

### 2/5 — Fantastic app but..

*2024-05-05, version 2.0.9*

I’ve been using the app for over a month, and it has been great to record and see patterns in my mood and sleep.

However, the history function is not working properly. It shows a daily view under ‘week’ and a weekly view under ‘month’, and I am unable to swipe right and view my previous data on either, despite the tutorial telling me this is a feature. Please fix this. 🙏

### 2/5 — It doesn’t work please fix all these blips

*2024-04-28, version 2.0.9*

I’m really frustrated with this app. In your comments section for the day which I want to update and edit regularly throughout my day. The edits only show up on the home page but not on ‘my day’ tab.
The meds section can’t be edited, I want to delete some, it gives you the option of doing so buy it actually doesn’t work. In the tutorial screen it appears differently from the app.

### 2/5 — Review of Bipolar uk Mood tracker

*2022-10-21, version 2.0.7*

I’ve had this App for 48hours and although I’m keen to explore it’s potential I really have no idea how to use it. I’m 69 so maybe this accounts for my ineptitude. 🥺

### 2/5 — Some improvements

*2022-05-24, version 2.0.3*

There doesn’t seem to be an option to add a frequency for depot medication which would be helpful as a reminder for when my depot is next due. It would also be helpful to add something to help track mixed symptoms/episodes

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2026-04-01, version 2.0.16*

Over all the app is good and very helpful. My only problem is I cannot seem to see my the graph on previous months or weeks.

### 5/5 — good app! but i have suggestions

*2026-03-27*

very good app! has all the features i’ve been looking for. i just wish the app was more customizable and that you could add a widget on your phone for the app.

### 5/5 — Useful tracker

*2026-03-06, version 2.0.16*

My daughter is going through assessment and is suspected to be bipolar. While we are waiting for her appointments I wanted to do something. Did some research and found this app. I thought recording her moods and keeping notes for each day would be helpful for all involved with her care. Even if she isn’t bipolar I can show professionals how things have been going for her. She also has special needs, so struggles to make herself understood by new people. So far it has been really helpful, simple to use and helps me feel like I am doing something for her. There is so little I can actually do to ease her distressing feelings.

### 5/5 — Very useful app

*2026-01-28, version 2.0.16*

I find the daily recording of what your mood is, what medication you take and how many hours sleep you have had very useful as you can see a pattern if becoming too high or too low, it also has links to various other things like Bipolar support groups and online community

### 5/5 — Mood tracker

*2026-01-09, version 2.0.16*

New to this but seems easy to use and gives some feedback I think

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2025-11-29, version 2.0.16*

Very well written app. The user interface is excellent, as is all the content.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2025-07-14, version 2.0.14*

Best mood tracker I’ve used and completely free. The scale is very helpful and insightful with descriptions for each rating. Can track medications and sleep which is useful for insights. There’s also an option to write comments about the day which I use as a diary space for what I’ve done and how I’m feeling. Very simple and effective as a mood tracker. Has all the features you’d want from a mood tracking app. Can also see your results throughout the month on a chart which is good for getting an overall picture. Overall very good app, can’t recommend it enough for anyone living with bipolar/a mood disorder.

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2025-05-09, version 2.0.12*

download the app to track your progress 👍

### 5/5 — Really good for tracking my mood

*2025-02-15, version 2.0.12*

The only additional feature I would like to see would be the ability to share with friends/family so they can keep an eyes on me instead of me having to take screenshots and send them to my friends/family.

### 5/5 — Phenomenal

*2024-11-01*

Simple yet effective way to make the day better
