It is suitable to those that call everything with feathers, ‘bird’. For those that are already familiar with the common species and hope to use this app to ID birds, the app will not serve that purpose. It lacks the majority of species. I now use this app for recording bird songs and calls only. There are also significant errors on the bird classification putting magpie lark in the flycatcher category for instance. I regretted purchasing it few minutes after I tried it. The app did not recognise rainbow lorikeets’ call and confused it with skylark!
