They do not respond to customer service emails which is your only option for contacting them. I will now have to dispute the $10k in small claims court. This is a malicious, predatory app, steer clear of Birdie at all costs. ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE FOR WEDDING REGISTRY *2026-04-27, version 3.17.8* under no circumstances should you use this app for your wedding registry. It doesn’t work and customer support is horrible - they do not actually help you they just repeat the same 3 sentences over and over again ### 1/5 — DOESNT WORK *2026-03-17, version 3.15.0* This app does not work. They will not let you pull your money out. It crashes every time I tried to validate my information. I deleted it and redownloaded it three times. Now I have to go tell my friends and family that I didn’t receive any of their gifts. Beware ### 1/5 — Scam? *2025-04-04, version 1.7.9* Wants a picture of my social security card. ### 1/5 — The worst company for doing a wedding registry *2025-02-28, version 1.7.8* These “people” are scam of a company! They say they can’t verify our account due to lack of info, we sent them our social security number, address, drivers license and emails. They are now holding our gifts hostage and are going to refund the money to people after 30 days. This is a disaster and they have done nothing to resolve this. We contacted minted the company that suggested them and they are having trouble contacting them too. Just shameful. Con men ### 1/5 — Ruining our honeymoon *2025-02-28, version 1.7.8* Do not use this for your registry!! This company said they were unable to verify my identity, and I have been trying to get customer service from them for our entire honeymoon, with no help at all. They took our guests’ fees to contribute to our registry, and are not trying to help us get access to the contributions. I have asked them for a customer service number to call many times and have not gotten a response :( ### 1/5 — Uncomfortable *2025-01-13, version 1.7.7* My mom used this app to send me money and a gift card. That was about a week ago. Went through the whole sign up/register process and the money is just sitting in limbo saying it’s still “pending” transfer. Based on all the info I needed to sign up for this, this kind of wait makes me feel very uncomfortable and I can’t wait to delete this app and all my information. ### 1/5 — Terrible app. Can’t access my money. *2024-12-13, version 1.7.7* As the title says, the app is terrible. I can’t access the money that was given to me for my wedding. When I try to add a bank account, the app just doesn’t do anything. I think it’s supposed to connect with Plaid but NOTHING HAPPENS. Restarted everything, still nothing. Also, there is no way to get immediate support. It was also not a good experience for the people giving me money. ### 1/5 — Scam *2024-10-07, version 1.7.6* I used Send Birdie for my wedding cash registry because Minted.com (the company I used for my wedding invitations) were contracted with them. I’ve not been able to download any of my donations because Send Birdie apparently cannot verify any of my information, even though my information was apparently good enough to create an account and link my bank information to. I’ve emailed back and forth with them and my social security number, full name, date of birth, and a photo of my driver’s license is apparently still not enough to verify my identity. I told them to just forget it and I’ll have my family send me my donations directly. This is a scam and the positive reviews must be by their own team. I will be emailing Minted about them as well.
