It was her first ever blow out, and to have it done at the dining room table was a real treat! Sara was awesome! I’ve been using Birdie for 18 months now, and have only had amazing experiences with the company. You can’t go wrong with choosing a stylist or letting them select one for you. Everyone is punctual, kind, talented and respectful. I’ve used it several times no on a Monday before a big travel week. The stylist was great and used good product. My daughter got “vacation” braids in her hair and they were perfect! Not only did they do a great job, the hair stylist was incredibly kind and went out of her way to pick up specific supplies before the appointment! I have not found the right words to adequately explain this service. I am sold and I’m a Birdie! Through the experience you will feel so much love and passion from the stylists and like a celebrity. As women, it’s our nature to nurture others, Birdie comes in and allows you to continue being the Rockstar that you are but adds a lil oomph to your day! You will not regret it! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Unreliable. *2024-04-20, version 2.1.0* The service has gone downhill. The last two times I’ve used Birdie, I have been very disappointed. Once no one showed and most recently the stylist showed up over 20 minutes late, not leaving enough time to complete the service. She didn’t bother to let me know she’d be late. I’ve tried to contact Birdie multiple times to resolve the issue with no return communication. Buyer beware!!!! ### 2/5 — Very buggy application *2019-04-26, version 1.6.7* This is a great idea...but I’m hoping the service is more fine tuned than the application which still has several kinks to work out. The contact us on the app doesn’t actually submit anything. (I did notice there is a contact email in the “help” section - May want to update this to FAQ and remove the contact us section as it doesn’t work) Several of the stylists listed are still test accounts - a little concerning test data hasn’t been removed. When I submitted my credit card it asked if I should save it. I asked not to...it saved it anyways. Also, every time using any of the help pages it kicks me out of the app. Is there a way to see stylists ratings? I noticed that the clients have ratings but not stylists. Lots of the bugs in the application. ### 4/5 — Easy to use! *2018-09-14, version 1.0* App is great and I love the layout. Only bug I’ve had so far is really minor, when I input my phone number it put the dashes in between the area code, suffix and prefix incorrectly. ### 5/5 — Great experience *2021-05-05, version 2.0.19* I was having issues using the app to schedule, but really wanted a Sunday cut on short notice so reached out under help. I was contact via text and was scheduled directly through there, even a reschedule after a last minute change in plans! Jaiden warned me before he arrived so I could quick wet my hair and make sure my obnoxious dog didn’t bark and wake up my sleeping three year old when he arrived. He cleaned up the cut as he was going and honestly I forgot to even follow up after him to clean up when he left because it was already totally clean! My three year old decided to climb out of her crib for the first time (on the second floor) for the first time about halfway through. He had no problem letting me fetch my silly baby and worked around her sitting on my lap for a majority of the blow out portion. Above that, he was lovely to talk to and provided some professional guidance on not only my hair but also my curly red headed toddler. A+ I’ll today do it again. It was so easy (cut and blow out) that will be my go-to in the future, and casual blowouts for sure. I had a stylist do my daughter’s hair once and another time and we were both so pleased with our looks. Also, most recently I used during Covid and the stylist washed her hands upon arrival, wore a mask and Sanitized instruments. I felt as safe as possible!
