## What is Birdseye?

Snap photos that know exactly where AND which direction they were taken on your drawings. Birdseye is the offline-first field documentation app for inspectors, contractors, and engineers.

WHY BIRDSEYE

Most photo documentation apps mark a location on the floor plan. Birdseye captures photos WITH drawing context AND directional information — so when you look at a photo six months later, you know exactly where it was taken and which way you were facing.

Everything stays on your device. No cloud sync. No vendor servers. No NDA risk on protected client sites. When you need to share, export individual photos, zip multiple photos, or send PDF reports through any channel your client allows.

FAST IN THE FIELD

Five seconds to drop a directional anchor. Five hours saved when you need to find that exact location next year. Create a new project, upload a drawing, capture photos, and generate a professional PDF report — all in under two minutes.

No menus to navigate. No team chat to manage. No billing module in your way. Just the fastest path from "I need to document this" to "documented with full context."

KEY FEATURES

- Directional Anchors — every photo captures both location AND direction on your PDF drawings
- Automatic Stamping — date, time, project, location, and directional minimap embedded in every photo
- Comparison Snapshots — track changes over time with before/after pairs
- Professional Reports — generate deficiency and production reports as PDFs
- Multi-Project Organization — organize by project, drawing, and anchor location
- Export Anywhere — share single photos, ZIP multiple photos, or send PDF reports via email, AirDrop, or any sharing channel
- Fully Offline — works everywhere, no internet required, no cloud sync, no vendor server

FOR WHO

Field engineers, machine designers, construction inspectors, project managers, maintenance leads, facility managers, property managers, home inspectors, insurance adjusters, forensic engineers — anyone whose documentation needs to remain useful five years from now.

### 5/5 — Helpful and Easy

*2026-07-01*

Really enjoy this app. If you work in construction, inspections, engineering, facilities, or any field that requires thorough site documentation, this app is well worth it. It has streamlined our workflow, reduced confusion, and made project records far more useful long after the project has concluded.

### 5/5 — Game changer!

*2026-06-07*

Attaching the drawing with a directional arrow to the photo is a game changer! It cleared up the normal confusion I get when trying to explain where an issue is on the job site.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-02

New in V1.5
iPad support is here.
Birdseye now runs natively on iPad — side navigation, wider photo viewing, and a comparison view that uses the full display.

Photo dates you can defend.
Photos taken in Birdseye carry a timestamp that can't be altered. Imported photos show their best-known date marked with an asterisk, so it's clear the app didn't capture it. Correct an imported date, filter for unverified photos, and reports carry a short legend explaining the mark.

Consistent output on every device.
Photos, comparisons, and reports export identically from a phone or a tablet. What you see on screen is what lands in the report.

Easier anchor placement.
Anchor size and touch-target size are now separate settings, so anchors stay small on a busy drawing without being hard to tap. Both hold their size at any zoom level.

Also in this release
- A sample project loads on first launch
- Annual subscription option
- Tap the minimap to reframe which part of the drawing appears on a photo
- Faster photo browsing without flicker
- Fixes to photo framing, exports, and report rendering

### 1.0.1 — 2026-06-08

Minor updates and improvements.

### 1.0 — 2026-06-04
