### 1/5 — The app doesn't load

*2024-08-20*

Signing up doesn't work. if you attempt to change password, it says the account exists. ???? it once sent a code to change a facebook password . Didn't work either.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t start

*2024-08-20*

The app simply doesn’t start. If you attempt to log in. It just returns to the login screen. If you try to reset the password….. nothing.

### 3/5 — Not all birds included, no support

*2026-05-30*

I’ve tried to give the TOS the benefit of the doubt but after a month of notifying them and asking for support, I’ve gotten no response or answers as to why all Texas Species are not included in the app. I’ve contacted TOS directly and used support contact… I guess they don’t care 🤷🏼‍♀️

### 5/5 — Wow!

*2017-07-03*

I wish I had explored the full function of the updated app more recently. Amazing tool for finding nearby records of species you need for a year or life list. Highly recommended for local listers!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2017-05-05*

I use this app often to track birds I haven't seen for the year in whatever area I happen to be in at any given time. Great app for keeping track of birds.

### 5/5 — It's great

*2017-04-17*

I appreciate how it links to my ebird account to help me identify species that I've never seen before.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2017-03-09*

I used this app to plan a birding trip to Texas and also used it several times a day while I was there. Helped tremendously to identify places to bird and identify species.

### 5/5 — Works Great

*2016-11-21*

I prefer this over Birdseye because it loads instantly. Also Birdseye seems to have a limit of showing up to 100 nearby species (maybe unless you pay for membership?) but Texas OS is the full unlimited app for free. Otherwise they are basically identical.

### 5/5 — Wonderful app

*2014-04-28*

Using this app as I explore Southern TX for the first time--I love how it integrates seamlessly with (and synchs quickly with) my eBird lists! Awesome app.

### 5/5 — A Great All Around Took for Birdng in Texas

*2013-11-25*

The app is featue packed, Browse for more than 2000 hotspots fo birding in Texas and CBC circles. Get info, photos, and audio of 638 species from Texas, Link directly to the Texas Ornothological Society website. Link to your eBird account and get alerts on nearby birds to add to your lifelist. Get alets on nearby notable birds. It's not a replacement for a field guide, but a supplement you'll soon learn you can't live without.
