The purpose of this app is to improve our ability to communicate with our citizens Information which will include, but not be limited to Submit A Tip, Contact Us, and more. Citizens may submit a crime tip directly through the app, as well as see and share social media posts. By empowering people through technology, the Birmingham Police Department will be able to better protect our county.

Why do other police departments show actual crime information while Birmingham provides only statistics? I feel horrible about the double shooting across town, but what about the burglaries in my neighborhood?  This app has little use.
