It seems to have the features that I need to keep track of family & friends’ birthdays with the option of adding gift ideas etc. I haven’t got to loading that type of info yet but from what I can see it looks great. Thank you for allowing unlimited entries and all for free!!! ### 3/5 — ALMOST really good 🥉 *2019-01-24* This is a potentially REALLY GOOD app. It NEEDS changes made to it to make it more user friendly. If this was updated I would happily pay for it. There are many cool features and I quite like the look and feel. I don’t like the home page at all, not at all intuitive or what you’d expect. The Birthdays menu is really well done though. Needs more settings and a few changes. Home Screen: When opening app, I don’t want to see my birthday. Provide the ability to turn off a countdown for ‘My Birthday’. Home Screen: When opening app, the upcoming birthdays list section does not tell me a countdown. It would be extremely handy to know how much time is left until someone’s birthday, just like it does on the ‘Birthdays’ Screen. Home Screen: From the upcoming birthday list I would like to click onto a persons name to send Birthday wishes. It would be useful if I can message them via WhatsApp/Messenger/Text/Email/Facebook. Home Screen: It would also be useful to open the person to view the persons details or edit the persons details from this screen, without having to navigate to the birthdays section. Home Screen: I don’t want to see the birthday planner, I just want to see who’s birthday is coming up. This should be grouped as two sections. A section named ‘Today’ in a red header. And a section named ‘Upcoming’ in an alternative colour to the today section. Perhaps base the redesign around the ‘Birthdays’ Screen, which shows how many days until the birthday. For Others: Please rename this to ‘Gifts’. Calling it ‘For Others’ is not intuitive. For Others: When adding a gift idea add the ability to select a recipient as soon as you click the plus icon (reduces clicks and better workflow). For Others: When adding a gift idea add the ability to store a url for the gift, it would be nice to have this as a dedicated field, even better if you can view url too. For Others: Rename ‘Reception(s) to ‘Recipient’. Calling it ‘Recipient’ makes more sense. To Me: I cannot understand the point of this section and how it could be useful. Settings: Provide the ability to turn off ‘Home Page Planner Widget’. Settings: Provide the ability to turn off ‘Gift is Wrapped’ and ‘Gift is Done’. This is just not necessary to me, however it could be useful to others, hence provide an on off setting for this. Settings: Provide the ability to turn off ’Price’. This is just not necessary to me, however it could be useful to others, hence provide an on off setting for this. Settings: Provide the ability to set reminders at a default date and time. For example; I want to be notified of an upcoming birthday 14 days in advance at 6:45am. This allows me to purchase a gift and have it delivered in time. I expect that every time I add a person it should inherit the default reminder. Settings: Provide the ability to set a second or even third reminders at a default date and time. For example; I want to be notified of an upcoming birthday 14 days in advance at 6:45am. Then a second notification 10 days in advance at 13:15. This allows me to purchase a gift whilst out on my lunch break. I expect that every time I add a person it should inherit all default reminders. Suggestion: Provide an integration with a birthday card provider such as moon pig or Love Layla. Wouldn’t it be cool to use this app to push to a card making site, lazy end user experiences are big wins! All you have to do is open the url in the internet. Suggestion: Provide an integration with a virtual birthday card provider such as hallmark virtual cards. After all we live in a world of technology and are looking to cut our carbon footprint so you can really promote how green this option is, millennials will love it, who wants cards these days?! Off the back of this, if you can post the virtual card or video to Facebook it will get your name out there!!! Funny cards/memes/videos are highly engaging to end users.
