### 5/5 — Great app and dev

*2026-08-17, version 1.0.20*

Great app, and great developer behind the app. Easy to use and very informative on each feature and scan. Constant updates and improvements are made frequently.

### 5/5 — Exploration unlimited

*2026-08-08, version 1.0.19*

A phonomenally easy to use Evo system of devices and software to learn about war driving and wireless security. The amount of support and creativity in the community surrounding the biscuit devices is incredible and the app is just icing on the top.

### 5/5 — Fun and powerful

*2026-08-06, version 1.0.19*

This has been an amazing tool and app to learn about Iot security. I really enjoy the community I have become a part of by using the app and the discord server.

### 5/5 — Muh Bad

*2026-08-05, version 1.0.19*

I stand corrected after unplugging and plugging back in, find great use if this. Before I only used phone as a paper weight.

### 5/5 — Great app to manage Biscuits

*2026-08-02, version 1.0.19*

I’ve been a part of the pentesting community for some time and own a wide variety of devices. I’m fortunate to own a Biscuit Pro and Biscuit Ultra. This app is used to control the Biscuit devices and any node devices used.

I’m blown away that any single person created the Biscuit devices and authored the apps for multiple platforms. Each time I poke around in the app I find something new, and theres what feels like an endless supply of features.

Hedge has done a great job and should be proud. His work and the Discord have moved the community forward in a positive direction.

If you have a compatible ESP32 laying around, flash the firmware, download the app and have fun! Or keep an eye on shop refreshes.

### 5/5 — Ease of use and accessibility

*2026-08-01, version 1.0.19*

Being able to use it even with my lack of understanding I think really goes to show how much work was put into it thank you for making it

### 5/5 — Best handheld tool out there

*2026-07-31, version 1.0.19*

It does what’s important, and does it well. Fantastic support.

### 5/5 — Great way to get into war driving and the RF rabbit hole!

*2026-07-31, version 1.0.19*

This app makes exploring the RF space incredibly easy and user friendly. I own a biscuit pro and biscuit ultra device and its plug and play. The app maker also makes his firmware compatible with a wide arrange of ESP devices so the sky is the limit if you’re comfortable following a YouTube tutorial!

### 5/5 — Amazing app and an incredible community

*2026-07-30, version 1.0.19*

Amazing app and an incredible project! I recently built two DIY Biscuit devices, and the setup process was straightforward. This app is intuitive, packed with features, and makes wardriving accessible whether you’re just getting started or already experienced.

The DIY Biscuit is a fantastic way to get people involved in wardriving and contribute to the cybersecurity community. I especially appreciate the support for community hardware and the frequent updates.

I cannot wait for the Biscuit Pro and Ultra to come back in stock as I will definitely be picking one up. Until then, the DIY platform has been an awesome way to learn, experiment, and contribute. Keep up the great work!

### 5/5 — Massive improvement

*2026-07-30, version 1.0.19*

It's funny how used to the status quo we become. Rapidly hopping channels and hoping to catch something while you're only observing 10th of your range isn't a very great strategy. Yet that's the norm. The Biscuit really shines with its node feature and ability to monitor a much wider slice of the wireless pie.

### 1.0.18 — 2026-05-31

**Hardware and Firmware Updates**
- Added support for the AWOK Dual C5 Mini.
- 5Ghz OTA fallback. If you connect to a 5G only network or the wroom struggles to connect for some reason, it falls back on the C5. The C5 will download the update for the wroom and send it over UART. This process is much slower, taking 4 to 5 minutes instead of 1 to 2 minutes, but it's a nice to have and solves the "y wroom fail" issue. requires firmware 1.4.2 and up or else it wont try.
- Firmware updates can now show release notes on production releases.

**Wardriving and Anti Surveillance**
- New Wardrive settings menu located under Settings > Wardriving.
- Persistent Scan To Blacklist added for SSID and BT MAC filters. Anything on the list is skipped from API uploads.
- Added an optional pre scan toggle with a timer in the wardrive settings. It works like a temporary blacklist for a single wardrive session. It omits anything from the pre scan from the API upload and CSV output. It still counts toward your total scan number because I like big numbers and technically you did scan it lol.
- The same pre scan feature is coming to Anti Surveillance.

**Node Management**
- Pro and Ultra devices can now run as nodes. You might see a short "Pro/Ultra Node".
- The node management screen has a new tristate role picker: Off, Manager, Node. First time you pick Node, you get a one time explainer.
- Clarified the node management screens and exposed all the settings. Hoping this improves the UX and becomes a little more intuitive because it definitely was not before.

**Flock Detection**
- Flock notifications can now be enabled in the settings.
- Updated some methods of flock detection. Kept all the existing methods and brought in OUI-SPYs recent detection method improvement. That method is slower to detect, so it's rare in a drive by that you'll trip on that method, but it is there.

**Misc Tools and UI**
- Themes are here. I'm going to be working on a theme builder at some point, but for now, there are some interesting colors in there to try out.
- Misc Tools replaces the mesh category. It's a more appropriate category for things that use both modules. BLE and Wifi Jam detection are in the works.
- added Patreon member list under settings.

**Bug Fixes**
- Fixed an iOS bug where on first connection of the biscuit you could get a brief disconnection modal.
