That was for drinkers only Second issue was quality of presentation of the set menus was basic and could have been addressed better Third criticism was that the steak sauce was very poor and did not taste like pepper sauce - could possibly be shop bought as we suspect the French onion soup was. Staff poorly trained and lacking in enthusiasm Not sure if I would recommend Bp to others but would like too - please can you look at improvements as the principles of the business are sound ### 5/5 — VR *2023-03-05, version 1.2.0* The food was delicious and served quickly. We preorder our menu choices and the service was excellent with all mains served in good time and staff were flexible when some of the group couldn’t resist a dessert. Paying the bill was no problem, the waitress divided the bill depending on starters, main, desserts and drinks so we could all pay by card. New app useless. Can’t sign in with my current details, says it doesn’t recognise me. Trying to change password so leave an email address and they would send an e mail to change it. Never received one. No where to ring for help, e mails for help, no reply, and a call to my local Pierre says the problem is rife. GET IT SORTED. Both closed down Altrincham and Stockton Heath so I am stuck with points that I can probably no longer use unless I travel to Chester or Southport ### 1/5 — Downhill *2022-05-26, version 1.2.0* Having supported BP for over 20 years. Always my favourite restaurant. At least a couple of visits a month - sometimes even twice a week. Over COVID my points went down from 3500 to 1400 -with no notification to me. Then to add insult they neglected to add points when I visited with friends. I contacted them to ask why & they said to provide proof that I had been there! Isn’t the electronic booking proof enough? Previously when booking online the points were automatically added. Seems that is not always the case - so check every time you go! I shall no longer go as they are unwilling to resolve my concerns ### 1/5 — Pierre Bistrot at the mumbles not so great *2022-05-09, version 1.2.0* the staff was very nice but the starters arrived so quickly that we didn’t have time to have our drinks then it took over an hour 1/4 to have the main. not more steak at 7pm ??? food was mediocre . couldn’t be bothered with desert. the bill was wrong and had to point it to them twice . not at all what it used to be . very disappointed . wouldn’t recommend it . loved to go there in the past being French but now the menu is further away from French cuisine than it can be. at least it is me writing this not Gordon Ramsay . i appreciate with Covid haven’t been able to go out but now we can it would be nice to be served good food . a bon entendeur ! ### 1/5 — Points *2022-04-02, version 1.2.0* Why has all my points been removed? That would never have happened when using the paper card system. ### 2/5 — Poor functionality *2024-11-04, version 5.4.5* This app needs some serious work on it to make it fit for purpose. It has no record of future bookings so you can’t manage to alter or cancel them via the app, so you have to rely on the emails sent a day or two before the booking. Why not send an email the minute you book. Every other restaurant using an automated system does this! If you want to book your local BP it still requires you to use a drop down menu even if you tell it to use your current location. Why not declare a favourite as your default restaurant? Doesn’t pre-populate your personal details so you have to fill them in every time you book. At the very least link it to your personal details on the phone so you don’t have to type in every line! Trying to send app feedback simply pushes you back to the app without any obvious way of doing just that? As an aside, why do so many people use this feedback to praise or criticise their experience of the restaurant. It’s supposed to be feedback on the APP……!
