## Most critical reviews (4 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — simply disfuncuntional

*2023-12-14, version 9.1*

ok on the ipad but doesn't work on the mac.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t”t work on MacBook Air

*2023-11-11, version 9.1*

This is a clumsy difficult to use app. If you are using it on a MacBook Air the maps , when calibrated ,don’t show up.

### 1/5 — No instructions, No support

*2023-08-17*

Manual entry of waypoints. This app is a waste of time.

**Developer response:** For instructions and support, see: https://nixanz.com/bitmap/

For automatic waypoint recording (“tracking”), use the left-most button on the bottom toolbar.

I haven’t received any support request, but please do submit one if you still want help.

### 5/5 — Does exactly what I needed

*2024-05-21*

I’ve been looking for a method to create high resolution trail maps. I live in the USA, and the USGS 7.5’ topo maps do not include many running trails that I would like to make for my university. I use this program to run the trails and obtain the trail data, and then seamlessly import it into the free QGIS to create beautiful maps. I can also overlay it with topographic elevation isolines, water features, roads, and structure data from the freely downloadable USGS maps. Very cool indeed. Thanks to Nick for explaining the process.
