It has just enough action to keep you involved during quick breaks, but has aspects that let it stick around and be a game you want to keep coming back to. It is in one hand simple, but has enough complexity to keep it interesting. The problem is every single piece of this game bugs out. In roster building you will make selections to find the best mix of players/attributes/skills, only to come back to everything in a different place. You will go to make trades, make your selection, and find out it actually took something/someone completely different, with no indication to the contrary. You will draft and cut players, and then come back to find you only have one of your 3 draft selections and other players werent actually cut. And this is not even including actual gameplay. Hits will become foul balls randomly, defenders will lock up or just hold the ball and you can run all the bases freely. If it ever touches the top of the outfield wall, its a ground-rule double. I eventually got tired of dealing with it all. If the developer can clean up the bugs, itd be a great little game. Severely needs an update…. ### 2/5 — Bad bugs but fine game *2026-08-22, version 1.1.36* The overall game is fine, but the bugs need to be fixed. The pitcher will throw the ball and then it will disappear and they will throw it again, with you having no chance to hit it. I just wish we could play as our defensive guys or as pitcher maybe we could select pitch types etc. the only reason why I didn’t give this game 5 stars is the bugs, now some of them aren’t too bad but for a long while for me my draft pick would glitch out midway through the draft. However, what would be nice is if the rating system of the players could be from 50-99 instead of trying to be unique with the 30-80, it’s just more confusing with the 30/80 scale and most gamers would already understand if it was the 50-99 scale like most console and leading sports games. Second off, please give us some sort of premium or privilege or just consistently update the uniform combos, because for example, why do the padres have a yellow uniform when they don’t have one in real life, same thing with the twins and red? where are the uniforms that mirror city connect? And the pants aren’t matching up with the jerseys like IRL. I think if you clean up on those aspects then the game would be even better ### 4/5 — Good game *2026-08-07, version 1.1.36* It is a great game and it a lot of fun to play very easy to learn but there is a issue when the opposing pitcher throws the ball it will glitch go back to the pitcher and then go back to the catcher and in like 3 seconds and it is impossible to hit the ball when that happens but other then that it is a great game and it is a lot of fun ### 4/5 — Very fun, simple and addicting *2026-08-03, version 1.1.36* I love this game a lot, i got it before a 6hr flight and played it the whole time haha, and have kept playing it. 3 seasons in, won the world series each time on normal. Leveling up and trading players is fun along with the post season off season trading. Only thing is I cant play anymore because the game is stuck on my 3rd world series which I have won the same game 3 times in a row, after winning it just brings me back like I never played it. But its a single developer and it seems like he is on top of bug fixes as they happen. 100% recommended downloading Nd trying this game out! ### 2/5 — Bugs Detract from Great Game *2026-07-24, version 1.1.36* I liked the game at first, but then the fielding made the game way too easy. Pitchers would run away from the ball. Wild throws were simply ignored, allowing for inside the park home runs, etc. Then the game started glitching. One of my guys ran from 2nd to home to score. Pitchers would throw multiple pitches at a time, instantly striking me out. The killer was that I would literally never get the bits (in-game currency) I earned, and the bonuses seemingly vanished, so my progression stopped entirely. I also never answered a player question correctly for ten weeks straight—an improbable statistical feat. The simplistic gameplay became very boring very quickly, and I’d either face super teams that shut me out while running up the score or teams that could neither field nor bat. Stat tracking became dubious at best. How am I 22nd in the league in offense when most teams will never exceed 10 runs, yet I am hitting more homers than most teams have total hits? How is the division leader playing more total games than me when the game seems to run week by week? You can pay a small one-time transaction to do sim, but I don’t get how the primary mode is supposed to be “don’t play the sport the game is based on.” It’s just a buggy mess that could be way better than it is. ### 3/5 — Needs improvement *2026-07-19, version 1.1.36* Wish the season was longer, better contract length and negotiation, better trade options, more recognition on awards I still like the game but needs more in depth gameplay ### 4/5 — Great game just buggy *2026-07-19, version 1.1.36* I’m having a lot of fun playing the game but I might have to restart my first save due to the fact that there is a bug that is not allowing me to play the game at all, it’s showing players from a different completely different team and I can’t start the game. But lots of bugs and lack of features. I really think base running needs to be revamped. I have no clue what my guys are doing and why they won’t run or run backwards. It rarely works as intended and is overall confusing. In close games losing multiple outs because of poor base running out of my control is frustrating. Also defense specifically in the infield needs drastic improvement too many time a rolling grounder is safe. All kidding aside, this is a game in development that a baseball purist will love. Don’t worry about other critiques. The arbitrator isn’t always right. I know HOFer Smolts would agree with me. This game is absolutely worthy of a download. I am updating my review to be in sync this game’s current release. I like the addition of the new trade deadline. The firm salary cap really doesn’t improve my he game because the competing teams are not attempting to improve their rosters throughout the season like you are. Allowing the other teams to trade and dump salaries to improve their teams would add another dimension game. Nobody proposes trades to me. Many of the past bugs have been fixed. Here are a few bugs still persisting. 1) the game fails to advance after a stolen base. The batter can do an infinite number of practice swings but the ball is no longer in play. Restating the game is the only solution I know. 2) The drafts have a few problems. Players selected from the draft often do not match the scouting reports or do not get placed on your roster. The only way I know to avail these bugs is to trade away all the draft picks and avoid that aspect of the game. This game has many moving parts. That’s what made this game so unique and addictive. There is a point in the game where you have played so long that the accumulated bytes can’t buy anything. The players, fans and owners is happy and you are winning games by 30 runs. My recommendation would be to add new wrinkles into the game like expanding the rosters to allow for bench players. This could help add new elements to the game like pinch runners, pinch hitters and or a late inning defense replacement. With an extended roster you can periodically add other variables to the game like the unfortunate injury or PED suspension. What if the skill levels in this game are renamed “A”, “AA”, “AAA” and “The Majors “? I know you know what I mean. What if you then can play four different “teams” simultaneously, one skill level per team. Now, what if you can move players from league to league? So that is a huge issue. Plus the fact you can only bat, defense is completely sim. I stopped following baseball over a decade ago, but quickly got addicted to managing my roster, contracts, and salary cap. You just need to be aware this game is a passion project from a single developer and this game has bugs that can cause you to loose Bytes (earned or payed for) if you run into an errror or soft lock after spending them. I was initially was going to submit this review as a 3/5 or 4/5 because of the bugs but I messaged the developer about an issue on a Sunday and heard back right away with a genuine and engaged response and update.
