Works great, especially in the the middle eastern countries where a lot of region lock happens. Often it does not. *2026-07-10, version 2.3.24* While my search for a VPN that works on Apple devices continues, this one has been as disappointing as all others. I am annoyingly stuck a year plan, only to realize that my iPad is always disconnected from VPN when I check my device after several years. Same with MacBook, where this VPN profile gets deleted almost everyday. Thanks for listening to the feedback! The only thing missing, is an improved Auto-connect feature. It’s missing the “Auto Connect on Any WiFi or Cellular Data Connection” feature that Norton’s VPN app has on iPadOS/iOS. This feature commands the VPN app to connect at all times (regardless the data connection’s type or safety status), forcing the VPN to automatically activate, even after restarting/powering devices on. Sometimes I forget to reactivate the Bitdefender app, after powering on or restarting a device, because I’m so used to Norton’s Auto Connect feature. Hopefully, you’ll improve the auto connection experience a bit more, making it more autonomous so users don’t have to manually enable it. Lastly, can you guys please remove or add a toggle to disable the warning message that tells users they’ve been connected to the VPN for 1 hour? I pay for unlimited Bitdefender VPN service and want my VPN connected at all times. So this warning, is irrelevant to me and users like me. I hope that repair the issues listed below as I’m fond of the idea of your service and I’d like to renew my subscription with you if the faults are resolved in a timely mannerAmong all the other apps included in my subscription benefits, the Bitdefender VPN app has been by far the most issue prone. For instance I’m unable to comprehend nor has the app been able to explain the abrupt severing of my desired VPN location nor my internet connection altogether, which is presumptively caused by the Kill-Switch function. Moreover the app lacks reliability i.e. the app freezes abruptly and unpredictably, thereafter it quits entirely and either shows a black screen or simply closes its window. Once closed the app cannot be restarted, much less establish a reliable VPN for quite some time, at least two to three minutes. Furthermore the aforementioned problems don’t only affect my iPad, but all of my other devices as well, such as my iPhone and my MacBook among others. In conclusion despite the plethora of services included, I cannot award more than than 1 star as, the quality of the services provided is entirely inadequate regardless of the plentiful functions. As per 30-day money back guarantee, asked for cancellation and refund on the same day, but they didn’t help me. The VPN still disconnects randomly like it did in 2023, exposing users’ IP Addresses without them even knowing! There’s no real auto-connect protocol to prevent this from happening and until Bitdefender understands this and adds a more aggressive auto-connect feature, consumers’ IP Addresses will continue being exposed randomly. Unfortunately, I won’t be here as a customer to see if Bitdefender will successfully resolves the persistent disconnects with a solid auto-connect feature similar to my my original suggestion below, as they’ve switched to annual subscriptions (only), no refunds (not even prorated refunds) after 30 days. The service is too buggy to risk forfeiting out an annual payment with zero funds after 30 days. For that, I can no longer recommend Bitdefender. Fix your refund policy to accommodate the buggy state your apps and services are currently in, once your team finally makes the product reliable and keep it reliable in a timely manner, then you can revisit the “zero refunds after 30 days” talk on annual subscriptions.
