I then had a payment taken out in February that I disputed and have had another payment for almost £60 taken out today- I have already said I do not want this app, it has been cancelled. Absolute scam ### 1/5 — ai and refusal to cancel *2026-08-25, version 2.27.0* I had an extremely frustrating experience trying to cancel Bitpal. It took two days to get my account canceled, and they only completed the cancellation after I told them I was going to contact my bank to stop any further charges. Twice, I was told they “couldn’t find my account,” despite me providing the information needed to locate it. The entire process felt unnecessarily difficult for something that should have been a simple cancellation. I was also disappointed to discover that their customer service appears to rely heavily on AI. Using AI itself isn’t necessarily a problem, but when you’re trying to resolve a billing or cancellation issue and the system repeatedly claims it can’t locate your account, it becomes incredibly frustrating. I wanted an actual person who could look into the problem and resolve it. Customers should not have to spend two days going back and forth or threaten a bank dispute just to cancel a service. No way to acknowledge housekeeping or yard work which are very labor intensive. ### 3/5 — Was fun until last update *2026-08-24, version 2.27.0* I have signed up aprox 3 months ago and I was really enjoying this app. It helped me to lose 2kg in 1.5month by tracking what I eat and helping me to stay on track with my fasting. However they just released new update and it’s completely ruined the experience for me. I live in UK, but the products and suggestions come up all American. It doesn’t have Costa, medium McDonald fries and so on… I took a picture of lemon drizzle loaf (Costa) and somehow it decided that it’s chocolate cake 😂 twice!!
