But recently I downloaded another app to try because I’m so irritated that I have to keep inputting the same meals from scratch over and over. I want an option to save my meals (and even categorize them into breakfast lunch dinner snacks dessert etc) so next time I go to log, I just click one button instead of 5,000. But Bitepal is so easy to use and uncomplicated that I couldn’t adjust to the other apps, so while I’m sticking with Bitepal, please make the app a 10/10 because right now it’s at 9.9 🤣 ALMOST THERE. The data in the app is laughable and there is no way to create custom entries or new entries for items they don’t already have. Or, for items they have but for which their data is woefully inaccurate. I have used other apps that are far superior and that do not cost money. What they provide as a “plan” for you to follow is a generic daily calorie intake and a generic/default fasting period. The only thing this app gives me that is in any way different is the raccoon — which doesn’t impress me enough to pay for this. I expect to go back to the apps I have used before and ignore this one, despite having three and a half weeks left of my four week “plan.” If anyone thinks they are going to get accurate information from a picture of your plate and an AI estimate, think again.
