Can’t even add anything in cart. 🙃 ### 1/5 — Extra charges AFTER order completed *2022-06-29, version 1.9* Wow, what on earth charging extra after payment has been made and order delivered and completed? Have used other apps like HappyFresh and Aeon online, if replacement for fresh groceries they will recalculate and usually it’s refund because replacement is always around same price and some items out of stock, so total will be less, never have extra charge before due to price changes. Where got such thing customer order from the app this this this items with clearly stated prices and paid the full total already then after delivery suddenly you tell them oh actually your total is different amount - WHY DID THE PRICE CHANGE? This was my first order with Bites Shop, only 1 fresh veggie the rest are dry stuff should be all fixed price, why the shopper’s total can be different from the app? First bill me extra RM18+ then when I emailed for explanation still didn’t tell me which item changed price but changed the invoice amount to RM2.30. Be careful they can simply bill you without breakdown or telling you which price increased. For sure will not be ordering from them again. If I didn’t email for explanation they would have just taken my money extra RM18, simply charging customers false amounts. ### 1/5 — Terrible apps. *2022-05-30, version 1.8* Cart disappearing after I spend 40 mins on it. It goes up to the point when I click “Checkout” and a blank overlay opens over everything and there are no buttons to tap to proceed with the purchase. This HAS TO BE FIXED NOW. ### 1/5 — Supporting their competitors *2024-08-28, version 5.3* I have tried to use this app at a number of occasions, and only once I have managed to get an order completed and delivered. It continues to drop out after signing in, and recently I simply haven’t been able to complete my orders. Their support working hours is beyond my comprehension as they normally are off in the evening, Sundays and public holidays. I haven’t used it for a couple of months but I did inform the customer service that I will place my purchase with their competitors. If they are unable to do it well, then don’t do it. Close the app together with their department and save the money. The claim that groceries will be delivered within 2 hours is absolutely FALSE. For every time I have ordered delivery from them, there has never been an instance when the delivery arrived within the time frame selected by me. What’s the point of picking a delivery time frame when the delivery ends up arriving 1.5 hours to 2 hours later than the selected time?! And the buyer ends up getting delayed for appointments in the day because your delivery is late. You can’t blame the delivery service if your order for a rider is placed AFTER the customer’s selected delivery time frame.
