The art style is cool and interesting and i like the sound effects. My one critique would be that sometimes it can be confusing and hard to see the ball when the ball is the same color as confetti, the blocks and the rockets shooting out from the platform. ### 4/5 — More Levels!!! *2019-01-24* Super fun game but definitely needs more levels...endless gets boring after a few times **Developer response:** Thank you for playing! Reminds me a bit of a game my grandma used to have on her computer called DX Ball, but with a twist. Good challenge/reward balance as you move through the 50 levels. Once you reach the “endless” level that’s where it kind of dies for me. It’s a bit too difficult. The option of purchasing power ups with diamonds would be cool! I also think the addition of a timer on endless would be nice so you could see how long you were able to maintain / try and beat your own time. The game is also a little glitchy. Sometimes app crashes out of nowhere or freezes. Also sometimes the paddle isn’t responsive which is super frustrating. **Developer response:** Thank you for playing! I played DX Ball a ton when I was a kid! It was actually the major inspiration for this game. Regarding your feedback, the endless mode will get an overhaul on the next update. Also, I'm considering a point based timed mode, which won't have any kill blocks. Regarding the app crashing, I believe that has to do with one of the ad networks. I have disabled that one for the time being. It masterfully links together several concepts to create an experience that is addictive and rewarding. That artwork is peaceful, simplistic and doesn’t detract your attention. The sound design is spot-on and every bounce and boing is perfect. Most of all, it’s really fun to play for a few minutes while waiting for a friend or catching the bus. Lots of levels to bounce your way through. Ads are non-intrusive and only cost $1.29 to remove, which is about a third the price other games charge. The fantastic art work and ambient style music gives you this tron feel, which I love. The gameplay is amazing. WORST MISTAKE EVER!!! Extremely repetitive and boring, not worth the $00.00 that I gave for it. Don’t waste your time with this. ### 2/5 — Like others bottom strip of ad is killing it *2019-02-10* Brilliant game but ads at the bottom gives tiny gap between base bar and ad which can easily be touched and you will be welcome to the AppStore in middle of game. This App started with new approach to ads which is no bottom ads and 5 sec max app which you can skip. But I guess they are running out of money and ads is the only way to generate revenue rather than creativity. I'm thrilled, they look great! but when I opened my game, the 2000 diamond blue paddle I had worked so hard for was replaced with a reddish brown one that looked terrible, and was probably 200 diamonds instead so now I have to earn up 2000 again? that's extremely unfair. it's even worse cause the replacement paddle has one of my least favorite colors on it (reddish brown) thanks I guess :))))) **Developer response:** Are you talking about the trampoline? That's the only paddle in the game that's worth 2000 diamonds! When playing brick breaker I normally would get super frustrated when I need to get one brick or so to finish the level. This game eliminates that as the paddle/game is always moving with objects that the player needs to avoid in order to progress. Great work! Literally. *2019-05-18* Cool game, satisfying vibrations, visually enticing colors and subtle yet clear sound effects. However when I was in Mexico hiking with little battery left, somehow the app was selected on my screen and then the interface was glued to the game and it was impossible to exit. I was unable to take a photo of a volcano that had just erupted due to the flaw in this game. Even swiping upwards—the gesture for exiting an app in iPhone X and plus models—didn’t work. All in all, the game is cool. But hey, it’s personal. I didn’t have time for it then because I had something better to do. But if you have the time, play bitnoid. It’s fun. From the developer responses, I'm guessing this is a single person effort which blows my mind even more. Like other 5 star reviews have mentioned, there could definitely be improvements in the endless level or other game modes or newer ways to spend diamonds like power-ups and so on. But, I'm mostly writing this review as a letter of encouragement rather than a suggestion box drop-off. Sebastian, I hope you make more such games. I love how polished you have designed the game to look. I especially like the sound of the ball bouncing on the paddles. Also, maybe think about publishing a basic course on iOS app development and design on Udemy because I'm assuming a lot of your friends regularly ask you to teach them something about it. I'm now going off to download your other app. Hope to see more from you. I beat the 50 levels, and it would be cool if there were more. Or maybe another mode? I say this because Endless mode, while fun, gets somewhat boring after a while. Maybe the amount of levels could go to 75, or maybe you could spend the in-game currency on power-ups or something. Maybe a power-up could be a temporary immunity to the kill blocks? Or temporary double points for each block? I genuinely enjoy playing this game, and I’m just making some suggestions that I have. Anything that will enhance this game that I already love is a good update in my opinion.
