## What is BL Banking?

An EBICS client for using the Electronic Distributed Signature (EDS), analysis of bank statements and creation of SEPA payments. For the use an existing installation of BL Banking Client is required.

With BL Banking, EBICS access can be used for fetching a list of orders from the bank for which a signature can be made or that can be declined. If it is supported by the bank, the payment details of the orders can also be viewed. The displayed orders can be signed or canceled.

The application can also be used to pick up and display account statements and bank advices. Here MT940 or MT942 and camt.053 or camt.052 are supported.

SEPA payments can be recorded in the app. You will be supported by a convenient recipient administration, so that not always all payment data must be entered. If an EPC QR code (girocode) is displayed on an invoice, the payment data can also be scanned in via this. SEPA standard transfers, urgent transfers and instant payments are supported. A prerequisite for the payment collection is a license that is not created for an EDS client.

Of course, the application ensures very high data security to protect your confidential information.

EDS order having a negative VOP result can be signed instantly from the overview.
The EDS overview is grouped by banks now, single banks can be hidden.
The signature password can now be deposited with Touch ID or Face ID and is not needed to entered anymore when signing.
The display on iPad with iPadOS 18 and older had several issues and was fixed.

In the EDS overview, the total amount of the selected signable orders is displayed again in the sign button.
The VOP result is now displayed in the payments table, too.
The advice to open the ticket of an EDS order is not shown anymore, if the user already signed the order.
The balance is also updated, if there have been received multiple statements in one day.
Fixed sign problem in bookings.
Fixed problem when showing and hiding accounts in the overview.
In the synchronization the license is not denied anymore if it is different from the existing one.

### 2.8 — 2025-10-02

Verification of Payee: from Octobre, 5th 2025 the banks are obliged to verify the name of the recipient of the payments. The result is displayed in the EDS, when sending payments, an advice is shown that the signature is not counted and the VOP result can be found in the EDS.
The bank parameter "Country" has been added for supporting country-specific BTF Service Codes in EBICS 3.0.
The deletion of recipients was fixed.
SEPA DK 3.7 is now also supported for the creation of payments.
There are also adjustments for iOS 26, smaller fixes in the UI and for improving the stability.
