## What is BL4SEA?

BL4SEA is a service for remote inspections and surveys of all types of areas. With BL4SEA remote verification, you can do your survey without disrupting your operations. 

It eliminates paperwork and offers easy and efficient completion directly on your tablet, and ensures that this work is automatically archived and updated at all times. Verification data will securely prove each operation according to relevant requirements and standards.

### 3.2.3 — 2025-12-02

- Added a new Setup View to make first-time BL4SEA setup clearer and more user-friendly.
- Added support for password managers during device setup in the Setup View.
- Improved offline resilience.

• Authentication and Login – Resolved timeout issues, improved session handling, and enhanced security with better token management and feedback. Fixed an issue preventing first-time login on new devices.
• Image Management – Fixed deletion and retake issues. Images now persist as expected across navigation. Improved photo previews and transitions.
• Navigation and Interface – Fixed double-tap issues, improved layout handling in landscape and across screen sizes, and resolved navigation bugs across app sections.
• Data Sync and Integrity – Addressed sync conflicts, improved offline change handling, and enhanced conflict resolution and data persistence.
• Status and State Management – Fixed submission status refresh issues, improved undo handling, and enhanced form completion tracking.

New Features:

- Added AccelerometerManager for improved orientation handling and refactored the camera to utilize it.
- Introduced dynamic sizing for Live Audit self-view based on device type and fixed aspect ratio.
- Added section codes to cards (e.g., “9.4 Annual Survey Test”) for better clarity.
- Included a description field in the Documents view.
- Added new API endpoints for updating submissions and test comments.

Bug Fixes:

- Resolved a race condition bug that, in rare cases, prevented the app from generating a new submission of a test.
- Fixed issues with headers, procedures, and verification details not updating correctly.
- Corrected logic for removing page comments when a test is rejected.
- Improved archived, commented, and rejected state handling.
- Addressed minor UI inconsistencies and removed obsolete code.

### 3.2.0 — 2024-09-30

In this update, we have made significant improvements to ensure a smoother and more reliable experience:

- The synchronisation logic and several core components have been completely rewritten, making it faster, more efficient, and consistent in handling data updates and removals.
- Multiple bugs have been fixed, addressing issues such as missing images, metadata errors, and app crashes.
- Performance has been enhanced, resulting in faster operation, reduced memory usage, and optimised database access for reading and writing data.
- Various user interface tweaks have been made to improve the overall experience, including updates to the Camera Page.
- The app is now more stable, with better handling in offline mode and improved synchronisation reliability.

Resolved an issue where the Camera Controller displayed clipped images due to incorrect Aspect Ratio handling on different devices.
