We were really excited because Black Bear Diner has been one of our favorites. I ordered a half sandwich and cup of soup. When I got home I realized all I got was a sandwich. We did t have time to go back as my husband needed to go to work. At lunch I pulled it out and realized that part of the bread was burned on the edges. I’m just really disappointed that I paid what I did for just a sandwich that was pretty simple and nothing to brag about. Black Bear Diner, and they did not disappoint us. Our server Nadi gave excellent service, she has the most beautiful smile. Our food was delicious as always, and as always I was not able to finish my meal. We did however, get pies to take home with us. It’s a very busy place but the servicer and the food was great. There was a young man name Luis there. He was great !!!! He was cleaning tables. However… IT WOULDN’T ALLOW ME ACCESS!!! Just to log in… It required that I set up a third party account, with my private and financial information, which it then shares with other businesses that I don’t do business with!! They say my information is secure, then they state that they share my payment details with a whole list of other entities!! The only thing I ever use apps for is browsing menus, checking prices, and rewards programs (if available). I WILL NEVER ORDER FOOD THROUGH A MOBILE APP, so why am I required to give a third party my financial information?? Just so that it can be shared with other businesses?? This is how fraudulent charges show up on your bank statements!! I have to say it was a hit with me and my family. I really enjoy this especially breakfast and the portion is amazing enough to where you can any of your meals twice in a day . The is how big the portion of the food is. The steak breakfast is my favorite because like I said the portion of the steak is amazing better than any breakfast place than I have had before . I rave to anyone that always wanted to try this place and I tell them go for it , you will not be disappointed. Customer service is amazing with a smile and also with warmth and kindness. You do feel that they love when you walk into the door.
