## What is Black Memo?

A place to write what you don’t want anyone else to see.

Black Memo is a privacy-first notes app for thoughts, feelings, vents, crushes, fandom, stories, drafts, and anything else you’d rather keep to yourself.

“I want to write this down. I just don’t want anyone looking over my shoulder.”

That’s what Black Memo is built for.

Fade your text, hide your notes in an instant, and protect what appears on screen when you leave the app.

On the train. At work. In a café.
Keep your private words in a place that feels like your own.

■ Write private thoughts, even in public

Reduce the visibility of your text with adjustable Fade controls.

Make your writing harder for nearby eyes to read while keeping it accessible to you.

■ Hide everything in an instant

Quick Conceal lets you immediately hide the contents of your notes.

If someone comes close or you suddenly need privacy, one tap keeps your writing out of view.

■ Read privately, too

Scroll through long notes without entering edit mode.

Edit only when you choose to, so reading and writing stay separate and predictable.

■ Protect your screen when you step away

Privacy Shield protects your memo display when you leave Black Memo.

Your note content is not left exposed in the App Switcher.

■ Start without creating an account

Open Black Memo and start writing right away.

If you want to create an account later, you can use Apple or your email address.

■ Make reading and writing feel like yours

Adjust text size, spacing, line height, and fonts to create a writing environment that feels comfortable to you.

■ A quiet, minimal place for private writing

A dark, focused interface keeps distractions out of the way.

Black Memo is not about sharing everything.

It is a place for the things you write for yourself.

Perfect for:

• Thoughts you don’t want to say out loud
• Personal vents and private feelings
• Crushes and relationships
• Fandom thoughts
• Stories and creative writing
• Drafts of letters and messages
• Personal ideas and reflections
• Anything you would rather keep private

Some things are difficult to write in an ordinary notes app.

Your thoughts. Your feelings. Your stories.

Keep them somewhere that feels private.

Black Memo — a place to write what you keep to yourself.
