I downloaded this app with the intention of locating black owned businesses in my area, but nothing is working. When I typed in Detroit or even my zipcode it did nothing…. Great idea if it actually worked

I recommend this app for anyone looking not just to support Black-owned businesses, but also for those who want to be a part of a movement that helps the Black community attain economic liberation.

This app has been instrumental in helping me be more conscious of supporting Black-owned business in places like Atlanta and Los Angeles. Not only does it offer great consumer options, but the app also offers financial content that helps users become financially independent.

I love the concept and motive but I think the visuals could be more prevalent when searching through different categories. Perhaps a photo from a Black owned restaurant for the food category or a photo from a Black owned clothing line for the clothing category. I loved that I could find everything I needed but it felt like a lot of clicking through each website to get a visual rather than it being provided. Overall, great finds on the app!
