### 4/5 — True count training

*2026-08-22, version 3.7.0*

Great app! I would update my rating to 5 stars if it adds true count training in the speed counting mode (which you pay $0.99 extra for). It tests you on the running count every few hands, but it would be great if it also asked you what the true count was every so often since that's really what drives deviation and bet sizing.

### 4/5 — Good but miss ENHC

*2026-08-06*

Good app but ENHC is missing. When will you release this version ?

**Developer response:** Hey, thanks for the review! ENHC is in the works since we've gotten far more non-US users over the last year. I don't want to give an exact time frame and possibly be wrong, but it is on the way and we're sorry for the wait!

### 3/5 — When will it have sound?

*2026-07-06, version 3.6.4*

It’s not nearly as satisfying to play compared to other blackjack games on the market. I want to have fun while I play. Please add sound

### 4/5 — Be warned

*2026-06-24, version 3.6.4*

The game itself is really fun and the card counter is helpful to learn how the count can affect the game. However if you want card counting drills it is locked behind a paywall. Other than that, it’s really fun and it’s nice to play for long periods of time with no ads.

### 4/5 — Really good app

*2026-06-10, version 3.6.4*

The only things I would like is to be able to control my bank roll and to be able to turn off suggestions. I use this app mostly to try new strategies I learned online rather than its intended purpose. It does feel more accurate cause some strategies I’ve tried on other simulators I’ll win 100x but fails in person. This one seems to be much more accurate to real life scenarios.

### 5/5 — BJA

*2026-06-09, version 3.6.4*

Amazing.

### 5/5 — Training day

*2026-06-08, version 3.6.4*

### 5/5 — Great Trainer

### 5/5 — Perfect

Colin you the goat

### 5/5 — Useful For Any Level Player

*2026-05-10, version 3.6.4*

Five Stars:
I have attentional issues so the charts are a bit beyond me but I still play the simulation and since I started playing, I've been getting less and less user errors, making me feel more confident to keep studying the charts and keep learning. great to have actual RNG gameplay in a blackjack app for sure as well. Will be updating this review as I go.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-04-20, version 3.6.4*

It’s a great app for training how to count. But in Australia we don’t have hole card, dealer gets the second card after all the player made their decisions. Also, the casino will burn the first card and cut 1-1.5 shoe of deck. It would be great to add these features in the app. Thank you!

### 4/5 — ENHC missing

*2026-04-16*

Hello, very good trainer, could you had the ENHC rules to it? Not doubling with 11 vs 10 or splitting 8-8 vs 10 for example…

**Developer response:** ENHC is on the way, only recently did the app start getting traction outside of the US so we're having devs catch up so you guys can practice correct strategy too.

### 5/5 — Buy this, even if it’s the last $5 to your name

*2026-03-29, version 3.6.4*

I purchased this app an hour ago. Spent 30 minutes training myself, and the next 30 minutes 100x’ing that investment into $500 at the Bellagio. Best money I’ve spent in my life

### 5/5 — The Best

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — spyware

*2026-08-18, version 3.7.0*

don’t recommend purchasing or downloading

### 1/5 — Rigged deck cards and dealer

*2026-07-03, version 3.6.4*

Computerised deck cards are not accurate; the number of decks doesn't consistently have the correct 52 cards per deck. Rubbish.

### 1/5 — Thought there be more.

*2026-02-22, version 3.6.4*

Not enough for 5 bucks.

### 1/5 — questionable

*2026-01-12, version 3.6.3*

listen I love this guy's videos and information online so I bought this app but first of all you have to pay additional money on top of the app price just to get a card counting trainer add-on which is very misleading bc the app doesn't actually train you to do anything it just deals blackjack and tells you if you didn't use perfect basic strategy which you can look at a chart and do for free and on top of that this is hands-down the worst black jacket no matter how you play you will lose almost every single hand no matter what which is not how it really works in real life... I don't believe this is actual true RNG I think it's set up to make you lose intentionally for some reason rather than being random like it is when you really play cards...

### 1/5 — Gestures don’t work properly

*2025-12-24, version 3.6.3*

App doesn’t work properly. I am using the newest iPad with the latest version of the app. I a using the gestures as described in the app, but they don’t all work. So I keep getting errors as the app won’t recognise my correct gestures, e.g. the gesture for doubling.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t have the tools to teach you anything

*2025-11-29, version 3.6.3*

The only saving grace is that it does hold a true count and running count while you play so you can get some idea of how to understand it, but rather than teaching in app and having game modes or in-app videos, they literally just link you to a YouTube video (that all throw a video config error so you can’t even be redirected) and expect you to figure it out there. There should be an in app explanation, I shouldn’t have to go to YouTube for an app I paid $5 for. I paid money expecting to have it all easily accessible in one place, otherwise this app is no good than any other free app that offers the same basic gameplay functionality. Feels very lazy and like a waste of money.
Get another free app, not this.

Update, since dev responded. :

The main problem is that this app is NOT advertised directly as a ‘trainer for previously taught counters’ but a trainer and ‘TEACHER’ as the description of the app says. You don’t train a dog to pee outside, but expect them to know how to get to their designated pee spot beforehand without previous experience. Just like you don’t teach calculus to students who haven’t learned algebra yet. The verbiage of your app description IS misleading. Sure, you could argue that counting cards properly requires or justifies paid training well above $5 but your app description is HORRIBLE and super misleading. The only thing your app may have over others is the slight possibility that it has a better algorithm for RNG which is impossible to determine without seeing the actual code. Otherwise, it’s not difficult or unique to be able to set a +1 -1 or 0 counter from a RNG based on a card draw.

Here’s some examples from your app description:
“Perhaps you just watched ….. next level.” - implies that amateur or complete beginners can use this app to learn

“We TEACH you step-by-step INSTRUCTION…” -literally saying teach and instruction, but in responses say it’s not a teacher nor provides any instruction

“Authority on teaching you how to play blackjack like the pros” - like, come on.

You are grasping at straws to justify future purchases and redirect to your website for alternative ‘pay-to-get rich’ schemes just like any stock bro. Call the app what it is and stop misleading. It’s a blackjack app with an unlimited bank roll and the ability to see a live count in the corner, but provides 0 aspect of teaching or training in app.

### 1/5 — Worst Blackjack game

*2025-11-27, version 3.5.1*

I have played a lot of blackjack games but none that were so one sided as this one. I hated playing it. Not realistic at all.

### 1/5 — Not so good

*2025-11-10, version 3.5.1*

Doesn’t teach you how to count. How would I get my money back?

### 1/5 — Incomplete

*2025-10-16, version 3.5.1*

Running count has no correlation to what is in deck

### 1/5 — Horrible app ‼️‼️

*2025-09-10, version 3.5.0*

This is terrible app I wish I could get my money back for it idk why I purchased it , i does not teach you anything at all you just play play jack and they call it training I need a refund somehow ‼️‼️‼️‼️

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2026-08-27, version 3.7.0*

Great for practicing

### 5/5 — Attention Prospective Counters

*2026-08-20, version 3.7.0*

If you plan on learning to count cards start here. Don’t think about it for one more second. Just download this app and get going.

### 5/5 — New update

*2026-08-19, version 3.7.0*

I’ve already reviewed once and got some amazing feedback. Just wanted to say that the new update is amazing.💯

### 5/5 — New Update

*2026-08-18, version 3.7.0*

New update has potential.

### 5/5 — Top tier for learning the game

*2026-07-19, version 3.6.4*

I’ve really learnt a lot from this app, from learning basic strategy to counting

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-07-13, version 3.6.4*

Been grinding this while I’ve been at work and just went to test out how my progress was going at the casino last night and I was at the table for hours counting successfully and beating the dealer.

### 5/5 — Great for easy training

*2026-07-01, version 3.6.4*

I love using this app while working or sitting at home to practice my skills without having to dedicate special time for it.
My only critique is that I wish there was a system to track what things you tend to get wrong so you can practice more effectively.

### 5/5 — Life Changing

*2026-06-28, version 3.6.4*

This app has changed my life all thanks to the creator Colin Jones. Together we are beating casinos one step at a time.

### 5/5 — Great app for learning but lacks some features

*2026-06-26, version 3.6.4*

It would be great to have more customizability when it comes to which hands are dealt for practice. Like removing black jack, obvious decision hands, or only dealing edge cases.

Also some other small tweaks but thats the main one i can think of.

### 5/5 — Incorrect basic strategy?

*2026-06-25, version 3.6.4*

I know this isn’t the place to argue about the math, but I did my research before writing this and I’m pretty sure I’m correct.

I was practicing basic strategy and was surprised to be told my move was wrong. (H17, surrender, 6 deck, deviations off)

I surrendered my hard 15 vs a dealers ace. The app corrected me and told me to hit. I checked on the wizard of odds and it said surrendering was correct. This is the only “error” I’ve come across, I haven’t had the chance to surrender hard 17 or 8,8 vs ace yet so I’m not sure if those are wrong as well. Sorry if this isn’t a bug and I’m just completely wrong.

Also, I would like to see a h17 basic strategy chart added, as of now there isn’t one. (just the H17 deviation chart)

Otherwise great trainer so far⭐️
