This ensures you consistently have to deposit additional funds to continue playing the “for money” games whereas before, you could actually go on somewhat of a winning streak and accumulate funds. However, since the developers added this “upgrade” in the past month (as of May 2024) they keep touting how “it’s to ensure more fair matchmaking” but its made all of the games much less fun for everyone.
