### 1/5 — Love the coffee, their app needs work

I love their coffee. However the app needs a serious overhaul. The company needs to invest in a killer software engineering team for its app support. I know I’m not only whose having issues, and this company’s app will continue to be a drain on resources until they put in the same love and care that they do with their coffee. 

Your in-store workers are going crazy and ordering ahead would make their lives easier. 

Problem Statement: I cannot get past choosing a store location, there are no options around me despite me being parked in their parking lot.

You guys seriously need to update your app. It’s truly terrible. I have unsuccessfully tried to add my cc for payment method so many times and it continually says “tokenizing”. I have deleted the app and added again to no avail. It’s impossible to get to the menu and when I have been able to actually pre-order a drink, it’s never available when I get there. Why, you ask? Because the store never gets the order from the app!! Your coffee is great but you need to get it together and join this century because your competitors are out performing you.

I normally don’t take the time to write reviews but I have been sitting here for the past 20 minutes trying to attach my card for my payment method. I have had my WiFi on and off to have it complete loading/saving but it won’t. As someone who is on the go constantly, a simple online order should be the least of my worries. I’m still gonna go get my coffee but it would have been nice to order it before hand without making an extra stop. Please fix this issue, thank you :)

Two separate times I have tried to place a mobile order. First it won’t even prepare the drink until you are class by which is silly…what is the point of doing a mobile order then? Secondly, I can never get past adding the payment card. It always gets stuck on “tokenizing payment card”. This will be stuck for 10 minutes and still does nothing how long do you have to wait hours, days, months, years?? By far the worst app I have ever tried to use. Please fix your app.

First off, we love Blackrock coffee, fuels, pastries (everything). The app always freezes and doesn’t let me place an order online. It’s whatever, we are already driving to pick up what we want so we’ll just get in line but it would be nice to be able to use the app. Also, it would REALLY be nice to have a description of the drinks. A “hot IV” is not available anywhere else that I know of so let me know what it is in a description. That would save other people from me holding up the line inside the store while I ask about the different drinks. 

When I decided to make my suggestions in this review, it says this version has not been updated from 3 years ago. It’s about time to take care of that.

So many bugs in this app I don’t know where to start but I’ll try so your dev team can fix it:

1) The initial pop-up “x” is too close to other icons on the new iphone that tapping to close is a lesson in frustration. 

2) If I’m not absolutely stationary, the app constantly cycles and is basically useless

3) If I input my billing info for mobile ordering from my local shop, it makes me do it again if I try ordering from another location. I looked at my profile and my debit card was in there multiple times! 

4) After getting a nee debit card, I can’t enter in the new info because the app endlessly cycles to “tokenizing payment methods.”

As of now this app is pretty much useless to me. 

Figure it out Blackrock. Spend less on new wall paper and build a new app.

I have been a loyal black rock coffee fan for several years, so when I saw they had an app, I was excited to download it and start using it to expedite my ordering experience. Unfortunately, the app didn’t even allow me to enter my credit card successfully and the process of attempting to order is very confusing due to bugs in the application. I hope their developers will invest in addressing the bugs and get it running smoothly because I would definitely use it!

Ordering has been fine but if I switch black rock locations, then my payment method gets completely wiped out and I’m forced to re-enter. Mind you, I’ve added my payment method to my profile so in theory it should populate no matter which location I’m at. This has been happening for years now and is pretty frustrating that in 2023 it is still a problem. Please fix!!! Also it would be awesome if the full menu, including food could be ordered through the app.

Unfortunately I cannot add new payment methods, as a loading circle stays on the screen and says "Tokenizing Payment Methods" every time I try to save a card. Therefore I can no longer mobile order. When I was still able to order, only their drinks are online but their food is not available for purchase. I love BlackRock's coffee and service so much, but unfortunately their app does not match the quality of the company.

I’ve used this app for a couple years to order coffee daily-all of a sudden a week ago it dropped my payment method and will not let me add another. I don’t get an error, it just says “tokenizing payment method” with a spinning circle and it never stops. I’ve left it for 30 minutes hoping it would take and it’s still spinning. Please fix this.
