## What is Blanks?

'Blanks' is a simple application helping you to learn new 
English words. It shows you word definition and gives 4 choices as answer.
Select one of the choices by dragging it on the hole in the paper.
If you are correct, a green hock is displayed.
If the selected word does not fit to the definition, you will see a red cross. 

The word definitions are from Wordnet. The application developer is not associated in any way with Wordnet.

Endlich eine sehr anspruchsvolle Vokabel App . Was mir fehlt ist die Möglichkeit die Bedeutung der vier angegebenen Lösungen nachzuschlagen . Wenn man die richtige Wahl getroffen hat, ist die Frage sofort weg. Es wäre toll, wenn die App Erklärungen zu all den 4 Bezeichnungen geben würde.

As an educator, the App Store has a wealth of interactive "programs" designed especially to be used as tools   for teaching. These educational apps are 1) Very helpful  in aiding with classroom discussion on a wide variety of subject matter;  2) Fun projects for students to do; and  3) A good source of educational "thinking fuel"in general! The BLANKS app seems to smear the strict demarcation line between the instructor and their class, because it challenges not only the student, but faculty as well! BLANKS is guaranteed to broaden your vocabulary base and, stimulate your deductive reasoning skills as well. Enjoy

Even more words, sometimes difficult ... I like the new look. Quite nice.  

Could use a review function, I would by MoreBlanks if it had one.

The ads are not so bad. 4 stars because of lacking review. Otherwise fun, go download and try.

die Werbung nervt tierisch. 

Erstmal ist es natürlich cool, dass es endlich ein Update mit neuen Wörtern gibt. Macht echt Spaß.

Was wirklich toll wäre: entweder Werbung ganz weg, oder gegen In-App-Kauf. Und vielleicht wäre eine Anbindung ans Game Center auch nicht verkehrt. Würde den Wettbewerb steigern.

Alles in allem aber sehr empfehlenswert; macht Spaß.
